Mitchum Women's Triple Odor Protection Antiperspirant & Deodorant Gel - Shower Fresh - 3.4oz/2pk: Paraben-Free, Normal Skin Type

I really like this deodorant. I wish the solid version performed as well as the gel, but it's the only one that works for me. Although it leaves a white residue on your armpits and clothing, I simply wipe it off with a warm cloth and carry on.

I was very pleased with my purchase. This Mitchum deodorant came in a dual pack. The deodorant lasts all day. The scent is very good. I have not had any sensitivity issues with it.

It smell so good and keep me dried for a long hours. No sweat. It is my favorite antiperspirant Deodorant.

Doesn’t fully dry you feel sticky leaves a ring of white residue. I feel like dirty after applying it just due to it never drying.

I really wanted to like this Mitchum women’s antiperspirant but, unfortunately, I couldn’t. It’s extremely difficult to find an antiperspirant (vs. a deodorant) that’s free of toxic ingredients like parabens & phthalates (P&P), but not aluminum-free. There are many “natural” deodorants that are P&P-free, but deodorants only neutralize or cover-up the funky smell of sweat; they don’t absorb sweat or reduce the amount of sweat that you produce. (FYI, P&P often aren’t explicitly listed on antiperspirant labels - they typically fall under general “fragrance” or “moisturizing” ingredients, or are hidden in incomprehensible acronyms.) Aside from a few exotic and prohibitively expensive brands, the vast majority of commonly available antiperspirants contain aluminum for sweat control. And since the numerous studies that I reviewed online all concluded that aluminum in underarm antiperspirants isn’t toxic or harmful to humans, I wanted to find an antiperspirant containing aluminum but free from P&P, which many studies have shown can be toxic. I had high hopes for this Mitchum antiperspirant because the product description clearly states that it’s P&P-free but contains aluminum for effective sweat control. However, what immediately turned me off from this product is its texture. Although lt’s accurately described as an antiperspirant & deodorant GEL, I didn’t realize that this would cause it to be so sticky and icky-feeling. Plus, it’s pretty cold to the touch, so it’s quite unpleasant for me to put on, especially on chilly mornings. (Gives me goosebumps every time!) And it takes forever to dry … In most cases, I wear it all day to work, and it still feels like glue and isn’t completely dry by evening. Lastly, it isn’t very effective at absorbing or containing sweat, especially during exercise, etc. When I use this antiperspirant on warmer days - even if I don’t workout - I sweat just as much as ever in my underarms. There’s just an extra layer of melted Mitchum gel on top of my own sweat, making the underarm sweat stains on my shirts even bigger. As much as I’d like to stop buying this Mitchum antiperspirant altogether, I have to keep using it off-and-on since, as I said above, there aren’t many viable/affordable alternatives in the general market that contain aluminum for sweat control, minus the toxic additives like P&P. Oh well, at least the Shower Fresh scent smells nice. ;-) Grade: C

Was recommended to try this Mitchum deodorant from a friend, and it definitely did not disappoint! It stays on for 48 hours and leaves my under arms sweat and oder free! 10 out of 10 highly recommend!

Love Mitchum, been using it since high school and I’m 67 years old. I use to use unscented and I really liked it but now it only comes in unscented for men

I would truly rate this 0 stars. I have tried several deodorants in my lifetime and have never come across one that doesn’t work and on top of that made my BO even worse. Second day using it and the smell after an 8 hour office job, doing zero manual labour, was atrocious. What a complete waste of money.

this is the best deoderant I've ever used & trust, I've used em all. I even ran to Ulta & Sephora to try all the high-end deoderants, which did not work. I shower nightly & I use homemade magnesium spray on my pits, but some deoderants will make me smell like onions instantaneously & i dont understand it. Mitchum smells wonderful (I dont like powder scents, but this isn't that, it's just a nice, fresh, neutral scent) & does not clash w any of my perfumes, though it is powerful while wet. it's a bit messy, but imo, all gels are, & it's more than worth it to exercise caution in order to ensure that you'll smell fresh & clean all day long.

After years of using Dove, I finally switched over to Mitcham’s and let me tell you I usually don’t like gel deodorants… this one does smell, powdery fresh clean and keeps you smelling clean for longer than I can say for Dove. I apply after my shower and you will need to let it dry.

This is my daughter's #1 choice. She likes the gel and the price is great. Works well!

I tried this for a couple of days but it made absolutely no difference in my pit stink! wild!

Staple in my routine to stay fresh fot over thiry years

I really like this deodorant. I dried gel deodorant years ago when I was never a fan always was too cold and gloppy, but this year is not the same as that. It's still gel deodorant but it doesn't stay wet that long and it doesn't use too much product when you put it on. I actually feel like this helps reduce sweating and the odor better than other brands. I've tried like Dove or degree.
