Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Moisturizing Body Oil, enriched with Vitamin E, is a fast absorbing, lightly scented body oil that helps moisturize and soothe rough, dry skin without greasiness.  Light scent leaves skin refreshed, while fast-absorbing sesame, soybean and sunflower oils work together to make skin feel silky smooth to the touch. Infused with vitamin E, you'll end up with hydration that will last for days. Q: Is this safe to use around the eyes as an oil cleanser/makeup remover? I know Palmers has a facial cleansing oil but something in it irritated my skin so I want to try this instead.

    Doesn't smell like cocoa butter!

    I love Palmers products, and was looking forward to using this oil. However, I was surprised by the scent of this! Instead of a coconut or cocoa butter scent, it is similar to a baby powder scent. So disappointed. The oil is nice, but I'm not sure I will be able to use it.

    Happened upon an amazing product

    I got this in the travel size section to prep for a trip I was taking. I had never used it before but wanted a good body oil, so I figured I’d try this. I am OBSESSED with the smell!! I came home and mixed it with my usual unscented body lotion because I can’t get enough of it. It’s done wonders for my skin and I can’t stop smelling myself lol. Looking forward to trying every palmer’s product with this scent, it’s addicting and moisturizes like no other!!

    Love this oil!

    I use the oil daily, right after my shower. Leaves my skin nice and smooth with a light fragrance. I layer my Palmers lotion on top of the oil for extra moisture.

    Makes me itchy

    I love Palmers hand cream so I wanted to try the body oil as well. I’ve applied it a few times so far. Every time, it made me very itchy as soon as I applied it. I’m returning it.

    So I went to go order this item I get to the target and I am told that they cannot find my order. I sat there and waited 20 minutes before anybody acknowledged me and I had to grab a manager not very happy.

    Pretty hydrating results noticeable the next day but very greasy initially & takes foreverrrrrr to absorb - I’ve ruined 2 pairs of leggings with this lol. I also wanted to love the smell based on everyone else’s reviews, but I just could not get past it. It’s not pleasant to me at all. Reading it may be a recent formulary change? So I guess my advice is to just be weary of that.

    Awful Chemical Smell & Greasy! Watch out for fake reviews!

    I’ve been using Palmers Cocoa Butter products for years. They’ve worked great for me. However, I noticed a change & it begun with their face moisturizer which was amazing. Smelled just beautiful & did the job. I stopped using it a while back due to a formula change & a strong chemical smell. This seems to have become a pattern across the hoard. There is only one lotion that stayed same. The change is evident with this oil. It’s AWFUL! Greasy, very strong chemical, nasty smell! So disappointing! And anyone reading the positive reviews about anything nowadays should pay close attention & make sure it says “verified purchase” & not originally posted on sites giving products away in exchange for positive reviews or “part of promotion”. Anyway, between manufacturers & fake reviews, what’s being accomplished? Products bought leaving ppl unhappy who had wasted their money and/or manufacturers getting the used product back & losing money anyway or the Retailer eating the cost. The consumer MOST IMP. is even more annoyed in the end?!
