A: I would suggest you use a facial moisturizer because this lotion might be a little too heavy for facial use. I would recommend olay for your sensitive skin.

I’ve purchased this item a few weeks ago and loved it, it smelled sweet and chocolatey and was creamy and made my skin so soft without being greasy. I used the bottle quickly and purchased a new one and UGH! this bottle (same label same ingredients) smells TERRIBLE. Like pure chemicals and rancid. I had seen a few other reviews mentioning the chemical like smell but my first bottle was so good I purchased another..regretfully. The inconsistency is too much to handle I won’t purchase another bottle. Buyer beware.

I am confused! I am happy with the Palmer's products I have tried, but this 13 oz bottle, named Coco and Shea, has no mention of Shea butter nor can I find it's technical term in the list of ingredients. Meanwhile, there is a mention of vitamin E used in this 13 oz bottle, but no mention of vitamin E in the 33 ounce bottle… Perhaps there's something I'm missing, but it seems these are two different formulas and I'm wondering what makes the difference on One's skin…?!!

Ingredients like C1 19140 which is a cosmetic dye in this product have potential side effects. The dye is also called Tartrazine has a few known side effects in humans. It may cause allergic reactions to some people, specifically those with asthma or aspirin intolerance. Its symptoms include hives and swelling of the lips, tongue, throat, and neck. In the United Kingdom, warnings about specific food dyes, which include tartrazine, were issued in 2008 because of their potential side effects. Why are these dyes included in body creams when customers only want moisturisers and are not interested in the colour of the products. What are the effects when products are used in the long term?

I’ve been using this lotion since my first pregnancy 20 years ago. My whole family has a strong preference and brand loyalty. But this is my first time buying direct from your company. While it may be cheaper through Prime (shipping being the main factor), I am more than happy to cut that middle man out right now. I’ve created an account here and it will take a lot to move me. You will probably like this lotion much more than I did if you enjoy a strong cocoa butter scent. I got sick of the sweetness of it pretty quickly. It’s a nice everyday lotion but not my favorite.

I give this lotion an 8/10...it smells soooo good, doesn't leave a lasting greasy residue and moisturizes almost instantly. The only thing keeping it from being a 10/10 is unfortunately the "moisture" only lasts about half a day if that, so you kinda have to keep applying it throughout the day.
