Q: Does this hold the biggest rolls paper towels?

  • A: I use the big, double-sized Bounty rolls with it. Fits just fine. Not sure if there even is a larger roll than the double-sized Bounty. Owned for 5+ years. 5 stars!

  • A: It seems to open up so far then click open to load it but it stays out then clicks back to apply constant pressure. I don't think a jumbo roll will work but larger than average will

    A must-have for those that love cooking and cleani

    Absolutely love the Oxo Gg simply tear paper towel holder in brushed stainless steel. Its a simple kitchen tool that makes a big difference in every day use in the kitchen.     I love to OXO brand. So when I needed a paper towel holder, I was excited to purchase this one. It’s more expensive than others it doesn’t compare. It holds the paper towels in nicely and makes it easier to tear. I can’t use jumbo rolls though because they don’t fit great but it doesn’t bother me. Definitely love this holder.

    Easy to install. Height and width is just perfect, does not occupy more space. Easy to tear paper towel with one hand , which is great while cooking or handling other things in the kitchen.

    Works well but a little pricey

    It does what it claims to. Decent looking and not hard to assemble but a little expensive for what it is. Fits some paper towels better than others but good overall. So far I have had no issues with durability.

    Meh-could be better

    Just ok. Expected more from this brand. The issues are the base easily water spots and they don’t clean off very well if you have hard water even with daily wiping, the “arm” which holds the paper towels in place doesn’t function very well as the roll diameter shrinks. It’s not the worst paper towel holder I’ve owned, but certainly doesn’t keep the paper from unrolling further than what is wanted. Wasteful and or annoying. My new solution is Moxie paper towels which actually allow you to remove what you want from a roll without concern for the poor functioning arm. Would not buy this OXO product again and do not recommend.

    Very disappointed!

    You CANNOT tear off paper towels with one hand as claimed! There is no tension being applied by that side arm..... it's useless! It is stable and doesn't move.

    Great for toddlers and kids!

    I was tired of being called to bring a paper towel to my 3 year old every 5 seconds so I got this to put within his reach. Price seemed a little high but OXO always delivers with quality and ease. Worth it in the end because it's much easier for him to grab the paper towel and tear it himself. There's additional weight in the base too which also helps.

    Spring wore through plastic

    Spring wore through plastic loop within a year of normal use. The metal base is also not repair friendly and needed to be roughly pried off.

    Arm isn't strong enough to rip with one hand

    I thought the tension on the arm would be strong enough that you can rip your paper towels with one hand, like many of these reviews clam. That is not the case for me and I only use generic/store brand paper towels. Most of the time it doesn't rip so I end up pulling out 5 pieces worth of length and have to manually roll it back up.
