A stray cat, without me even knowing had a liter of 5 in my backyard. I had never seen her before. but she probably knew that I was I very kind human, one day I was doing some gardening and suddenly behind me! I heard some odd sounds,so I looked around and sure enough there was a mother Cat and her 5 new members of her family they were feeding and I left them alone, I don't know how long ago that they were born, but I would say that they were probably 6 weeks or more. ( I'm disabled, I don't actually go out to my backyard very often) Anyway, I decided because fleas love me more than I do them I would just leave them be for now until I could find someone to find somewhere for them to go. Well, I did setup a few little kitten type of toys and things to help them to be curious and have fun, While the mother sleeps in-between feeding them and, I found out she goes out into the neighborhood to get herself food and nourishment. I noticed that the kittens were getting bigger as the days and weeks went by, So, I started to put food out separate for the mother unseasoned chicken and stuff like that. And I bought this kitten food after checking with Google what would be good and ok for them to eat. Well, the mother loved what I gave her, she ate it always watching and knowing that I wasn't near while she ate ( Remember she is a stray cat and Clearly is afraid of people) I had setup a little area where she would feed her babies with 2 Plastic bowls big enough but only 2 inches high so all five could eat the kitten food as well as water in the other bowl ( they needed to know that water is also important) I found out from Google how much each needed and I did that for for them for 2 and a half weeks when I started to notice that they were climbing and even getting to the top of my wooden fence and running everywhere (fun to see TRUE LOVE and Nature at it finest) then one day recently the Father Cat came strolling through my backyard ( I knew it was him , because he had what I called one boot on his one leg just like one of the kittens) anyway he looked up at me just briefly as I looked out my sliding glass door, the mother Cat was there with her family, I smiled and laughed and said to myself, I know who you are! and kinda sad to say after that day They were all gone! Mother and all. I hadn't seen them in over a month until just yesterday when I only seen one of my favorites ( probably the runt of the 5, the small gray greeneyed littlest of them across the street around the garbage cans.) I gotta admit, I enjoyed them being here, probably why I wasn't in any hurry to have them go So, if you're looking for something that kittens well enjoy eating, this will do the job. They ate every bowl and never left a crum and I did see them drink the water as well. I hope you like this review and the story of True Love and What real mother nature can look like in a backyard in the city.
