A pre-mixed, liquid, soft cleanser formula of our original 1882 multi-purpose powdered cleanser . This cleaner works on stainless steel, porcelain, copper, aluminum, glass, ceramic, and most other non-porous hard surfaces.     Going to re-order!

    I have the powdered BKF, and I use it constantly to keep my stainless steel pots and pans shiney on the interior. It's a bit of a hassle, but it really works and I love seeing the shiney steel. But, it's not great when you just added the bit of steamy hot water to the bottom of your pot, and then sprinkle in the powdered BKF, and the BKF then gets clogged due to the steam .... so, I always wanted to try the liquid version. The powdered version is more popular, but that didn't deter me because the liquid version still seemed like a good idea. Also, the ridiculously high prices and lack of availability for shipping across several retailiers has been quite a deterrant for buying this ---but, Target came through and so I bought a bottle to try out! It's so much more convenient than the powder, and so I'm making the switch!!! Glad I went against the pattern (of more people buying the powdered version than the liquid version), and found this "must have" product for every kitchen! I recommend this, it's the best thing for keeping your stainless pots and pans shiney!

    Works on rust

    One of my bathrooms tends to rust the light fixture even when I vent the bathroom often, especially during showers. I tried using WD40 to remove and prevent the rust, but that barely worked. I saw an IG post about using Bar Keepers Friend on rusted light fixtures, so I gave it try last night. It worked! I will caution that it could change the finish on brushed nickel, but that doesn’t matter to me. I’d rather strip the brushed nickel than to have rusted fixtures.

    excellent on tub stains

    I bought this to destroy and remove the red brown algae/bacteria stains in the bottom of my tub from not hanging up the bathmat often enough. I used nearly the entire bottle, poured all over the stains and waited about 15 minutes, then scrubbed it with an electric bathroom scrubber and it's brand new.

    This is one of my favorite all purpose cleaners - I use it regularly (and the powder cleaner as well) to clean my sink and scrub stains gently off my counter and dishes. I use this one for the gentle stuff (like nice pottery) and the powder for stronger cleaning like my sink typically, but really they both work great for either and I haven't found it to be too harsh for anything yet, I just add water and gently scrub with a sponge or cloth. It also works great for rust and cooking sheet pans. It is a great value and the bottle lasts me a while even with regular use.
