Should i have to repair a damaged cushion myself?

I love the fabric and it seems durable, but of the three cushions I ordered, one had the ends of the ties actually sewn into the seam of the cushion. That made it inoperable. I had to rip the seam, extract the ends of the ties, and re-sew it. Not such good quality control.
