Q: I have used this razor/shaver for about 10 years and they continue to grow mold in all of the crevices. I have tried cleaning with brushes and mold & mildew sprays to no avail. Please re-design!

  • A: Holding the Hydro Silk Trimstyle with the razor end up and the Schick logo facing you, twist the bottom half of the unit to the left and pull the bottom half down. Insert a AAA Lithium battery into the white tube on the bottom half of the unit, with the + side facing down. With the bottom half slightly turned to the left (button will be on left side), re-attach the bottom half of the razor to the top half by pushing the white tube on the bottom half into the green opening on the top half; then twist the bottom half to the right to secure and close.

    Good function and price but unreliable

    Overall for the cost, this is not a bad purchase. I appreciated the function of it while I had it, however, they use a TON of batteries (had to replace every time I used it) and I’ve had two of these stop working on me after maybe 5 or so uses. Like I mentioned, its not a terrible purchase. I’m investing a more reliable and lower waste option myself but this product was decent while I had it.
