Q: How should this be administered to exclusively breastfed babies who don’t receive bottles?

A: I've heard from others that it's easiest to put a drop on your nipple before offering to baby at feeding time. Or if your baby takes a pacifier you could put a drop on it before giving to them.

A: Hello, We recommend not administering directly into baby's mouth for safety purposes; If the dropper has contact with baby's saliva, this could contaminate the rest of the product. Also, if the bottle is squeezed too hard, the product may come out quickly and this may startle baby and cause gagging or rejection of the supplement. If you do prefer to administer directly into baby's mouth, please do so with caution.

I'm not sure what the deal is with this bottle, but it's concerning that whenever i use it i have to wash my hands. It feels like the contents are seeping through the plastic which is really concerning. I always close the cap after use, so i'm not sure where else the contents could be seeping from... definitely would not recommend. get one that comes in a glass bottle instead.

My son is exclusively breastfed and our first appointment, the pediatrician recommended we give him daily vitamin D drops. We tried a couple other brands where you have to give 1mL or .25mL through a dropper but he would cry and spit a lot of it out. This product is great because the dose is just one drop. I put it on the nipple and he doesn’t even notice, so I have to assume there is not a strong taste. We had almost given up on the vitamin D drops until we found this!

Since I exclusively breastfed my baby, I've been giving her these vitamin D drops since she was a newborn. They didn't cause any problems for us. Sometimes the bottle tends to leak and can cause it to get oily but other than that these have been great.

This product doesn’t have a dropper - you have to try to pour 1 single drop out. In my attempt, way more than 1 drop came out and now I have to dump 2 oz of breastmilk because I have no way of knowing just how much was poured into the milk. This is poor design and now I’ve wasted 2 oz of breastmilk.

These are my favorite drops to give my little one. I have had three children and I trust this brand to always provide the same quality product. I like the ease of squeezing one drop. The product is not greasy feeling like some of the others. Some brands take ages to get a drop to come out and others feel wasteful with a dropper that doesn’t reach all of the product. Over the past 6 years this brands quality and packaging has been consistent and I appreciate that. I do question why vitamin drops are so expensive in general, but this is my go-to vitamin D supplement for infants.

I was looking msg the reviews before buying this and it seemed ok to buy so I did and the first time I used it I put a drop in my baby’s bottle and 7 hours later she was eating and kept crying which she never did that before and she spit up three times in that feeding and she had diarrhea for the first time she’s 1 month old. I knew it had to be the drop because she never had acted the way she did while taking the drop. I went back to read the reviews again on here and just should have listened because a lot of the reviews I read just saw people had the same problem. I only used it once which sucks because of the price.

This gave my 9 week old terrible tummy issues. He became super super gassy, had diarrhea, and was incredibly fussy. lt’s been 1.5 days since we last gave it to him he’s already less gassy, less fussy, and his poop is solidifying. I came to read the reviews because we couldn’t figure out what was going on with him and sure enough, other people have had the same issues so I’m sure it’s this.
