For best results with Manic Panic hair color, we recommend pre-lightening your hair first to a pale blonde-level 9 or higher. This will not only help the color show up as vibrantly as it should, but it will also help hold the color in your hair properly. On hair that has been properly prelighened, most colors will gradually fade within 4-6 weeks.
