A: Annie’s Mac & Cheese nutritional facts reflect the regulatory requirement, governed by FDA, to label all folate, regardless of source, as “folic acid” on the Nutrition Facts Panel. However, with FDA’s new labeling regulations, “folic acid” will be declared as “Folate” and will be the amount of total folate (naturally-occurring folate plus synthetic folic acid). All of the folic acid in Annie’s Mac & Cheese products is naturally-occurring folate and comes from the organic wheat flour used in the pasta. You will see this reflected as “Folate” as we transition our labels to the new regulatory requirements in the near future.

A: We offer several products that are labelled ‘Gluten Free’. Unfortunately, our Annie's Organic Cheddar Bunnies are not gluten free. A: Hi Heather - Soy is not an ingredient in this product but it's listed in the 'may contain' statement because of the possibility of cross contact with soy. Both ‘contains’ and ‘may contain’ mean that if you are sensitive to the specific allergen(s), no matter which way it is listed on the package, you should avoid the product. Thanks!
