I purchased this box of 72 Ticonderoga Sharpened Pencils. The problem is that these pencils are BARELY sharpened. This is ridiculous. Now I have to sharpen 72 pencils! I love Ticonderoga pencils. But this has been such a disappointment and inconvenience.

Barley sharpened
I love this brand. Never had a problem with them until now. I paid extra for the sharpened pencils, however, these are barley sharpened all the way. I checked all the boxes. I’m not sure if I got a bad batch or what, but I’m pretty unhappy about it because I have to now sharpen 72 pencils for tomorrow. So check ahead of time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are not the same Ticonderoga pencils I used when I was a kid. They used to be a high-quality pencil. I hadn't used the brand in years and I was looking forward to using them again. They do not sharpen well, the lead breaks and the wood is rough--like feels like you might get a splinter rough. My daughter writes A LOT so I asked her opinion as well and the verdict was the same. I wish the quality was the same as it used to be!

Sharpens perfectly, writes perfectly and last longer than I expect, I wish I knew before would have changed long time ago. My son is prek is using these and it is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never put much thought into the quality of a pencil until I started using Ticonderoga. Suddenly, I'm comparing every pencil in my arsenal - which, as a teacher, is a pretty big thing. These pencils come pre-sharpened, which is always a plus in my book. They're also very comfortable to hold, the graphite writes smoothly and the pencil erases all errors easily. Even my son has started looking to make sure he picks up the Ticonderoga pencils for his writing assignments. We are not very brand-loyal in this household, but I have definitely given exception for these pencils. They truly do make a difference.

They already came sharpened in our easy to use very sturdy. Classic but not so classic perfect for school work or even drawing I would recommend this to family friends and anyone else.
