Ultra Soft Foam Earplugs - 12 pair - up&up™

I bought these ear plugs to use for sleep while on vacation because I would be sharing a room with people who snore very loudly. Well, right now as I am writing this review, I am wearing the ear plugs and I can hear everything as if I wasn't wearing them. In the past I have used ear plugs from other brands and they have worked pretty well in muting loud noises, but not these. For the last few nights I have woken up in the middle of the night and have had to readjust the ear plugs thinking that would help and it hasn't. Although they are soft and easy to put in my ears, they do not do the job in drowning out loud noises. Aside from hearing loud snoring from the people I'm rooming with, I can also hear their deep breathing which I would normally not be able to with other ear plugs. I am very tired and very dissatisfied with this purchase.

Does not block any sound. If you need good ones, the CVS pink ones are amazing. huge difference between the two.

It was the only option they had at my local Target. The app says there were more options but there weren't. I took this one because it was the only one available and didn't have a selection to choose from. Hardly cancels out any noise. Just the slightest bit. I will be returning these.

I’ve been using these for years to muffle my husband’s snoring and they have worked well. However, the last few months the packaging has changed and so has the quality. They no longer reduce sound instead only put pressure in my ears.

Echoing the other reviews to say these don't block out sound. I followed the instructions (rolled them up, inserted in ear canal, held my finger against the bottom while they expanded) and they didn't block out ANYTHING. I run a humidifier at night and I could even hear the generally light hiss of the humidifier through these.

Did not provide any noise cancellation for me!

I should have listened to the recent negative reviews. These don't even come close to expanding large enough to seal out any sound, and I even thought my inner ears were kind of small because I find a lot of earbuds to feel too big in my ears. Tried these for 4 nights just to see if they'd work even once and they're completely useless. Will be throwing these away.

If you insert them like the instructions say (and have realistic expections since they do say they block out 32 decibels, so no, you can't go to a rock concert and block out 80 decibels) then they are great. Roll them into a tube, insert them into your ear canal, and hold them in place for 60sec while the memory foam puffs back up. If you don't get them far enough in, then you won't get the full 32 decibels but you might still get something and for my partner, he just needs a little bit to drown out the trash trucks in the morning. For me, I'll try 5x until I get a perfect fit and then everything is dulled down (but yes, you can still hear leaf blowers since those dang things are louder than 32!). Give them a try!! And yes, I've tried a few brands and think they are solid the favorite (the tan ones can be lower dB or not as coated for earwax and such)

Useless! These are small and do not block any noise. They don’t expand much and I even have small ears and usually use the pink ones made for women. Waste of money!

They do not work and will not stay in ear.

There’s definitely a learning curve to putting them in your ears and having it stay in. Once you find the method, it does muffle some sounds.

It was very uncomfortable it hurt my ear afterwards I took them off definitely not buying this item

Very affordable, soft material, and the size fits my ear canal perfectly. Once I put them on, I can’t hear the fan noise outside my apartment anymore. They work great and have saved my study sessions!

This product doesn't block sound. Everything sounds the same with the ear plugs in. It's pointless that this product doesn't do what it says it will do.

They do not block noise at all. I can hear everything when I put them in, no matter how small I make them or how deep I put them in my ear.
