Loop Switch™ 2 Earplugs for Adjustable Volume Control and Instant Noise Relief

I was skeptical because earbuds/earplugs and me don't usually get along but these fit great! I used the Medium tips and they were comfy and didn't fall out. They did start to get uncomfortable by the 4 hour mark but that's pretty normal for me and earbuds. The versatility was amazing. Being able to crank it up for music and then turn it down to hear people was the icing on the cake. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

The first time I put on the Loop Switch 2 earplugs, I genuinely cried. It felt like something finally clicked for my ADHD brain. On day one, I went grocery shopping and it was the most peaceful experience I’ve had in a long time. I was able to focus, breathe, and actually enjoy the process instead of fighting overstimulation. Later that same day, I locked in and finished my grad school assignments without feeling drained. I can’t wait to see how they help me when I’m teaching in the classroom. I’ve even started wearing them while I drive. The constant hum of the AC and road noise used to overwhelm me, but with these, I get quiet. I get my own thoughts. Driving feels peaceful for the first time in years. If you’re a sensitive or neurodivergent person who gets overstimulated easily, these might change your life the way they changed mine.

I purchased this product after being recommended them as I suffered a concussion and had severe noise sensitivity. This helped me balance my symptoms so that I could function better at home while mitigating some of my symptoms.

The three different levels are amazing to use for public spaces and marching/concert band environments. I’m in a very large band and it really helps me to remain engaged and calm especially during the loudest moments. Plus it also really protects my hearing too! I’ve also used the quietest mode for sleeping in a loud environment too and it worked great for someone who is an extremely light sleeper. I definitely recommend this version of loops because they are extremely versatile and great for many different things.

I like the multiple settings on the Loop 2, which allow me to customize my experience.

The settings don’t really sound different. The circular part (not the actual plug) is a bit large for my ears.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They do the job, a little pricey for what it is, so def try to get it on sale :) They feel just like regular headphone/earbud pieces with the soft silicone part, and honestly i think that is the thing doing most of the job. The "channeling" technology is overstated, when i wear these sometimes i have trouble hearing friends around me speaking, so it's not as perfect as they make it to be. Of course it's stellar at reducing the loud background / droning noises, but for nuanced noises like conversation it depends. I've sometimes noticed that unless all the friends in your group are wearing Loops, you run into issues where they cant hear you. . . bc you naturally speak softer in your normal voice since everything around you isnt that loud —but they are not experiencing that, so they are still speaking loud in the environment you're in, but they have trouble hearing you bc you're speaking soft comparatively. My partner said it sounds like i'm mumbling even thought i feel like i'm speaking regularly hahaha. So i'm not sure this is the perfect solution for maintaining social conversations etc, but it's still great for reducing extra noise, esp when the watch alert tells you you're in a loud DB area, you'll be glad you have these! The case is very cute and small, i can fit it in my purse no problem! So i have my loops with me & can pull them out at a moment's notice :) Changing the "modes" i thought would be difficult, but they did a good job actually, it doesnt require much force, but it has a good "click" so you know you did it. I think that has been improved in the newer version so definitely get the v2.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TL;DR: Pros: turns volume of the world down, can still hear people talking to me on Engage and Experience mode, can still hear alarms/phone ringing, actually stay in my ears. Cons: a smidgeon uncomfortable for prolonged periods of time, can't hear anything external if I'm chewing, mutes the sound of movement around you. Full review: ADHD, suspected Autistic (getting treated next year), noise-sensitive adult. Decided to try some ear plugs after an experience at the phone store, trying to focus on what the salesman was saying while being distracted by the nearby television and a sporadically loud and noisy child. I settled on the Switch 2 because I couldn't decide between the Engage or the Experience. The reviews that I read were correct, even with proper fit, the loop bit pushes against my helix. It's not painful, just uncomfortable. And while I can't block out the discomfort, it is bearable versus dealing with the noise. I wonder if I would have the same issue with one of the standard pairs since they wouldn't have the added bulk of the switch? I may get an Engage Plus in the future to test that out. Anyway, I absolutely love these ear plugs! With the holidays here, shopping is almost unbearable. The music is louder; there are so many people about; kids are out of school. Having the Switch 2, I'm able to change modes whenever I need to. Is this store louder than the last? Change up. Is this one quieter? Change down. I'm so much calmer in public now. And I'm not frazzled or "raw" by the time I get home! I'm generally hyper-aware of people around me, and I have noticed that I can't hear when someone is getting too close me. I've almost collided with some people because I can't hear them coming. I had seen this in the reviews, and I thought it would bother me, make the anxiety and hyper-awareness worse. I find that it doesn't! After the initial shock (noticing someone very close by that I wasn't expecting), I apologize and move on. Before the ear plugs, my heart would be pounding for ages, eyes dating around to make sure it doesn't happen again. I'm so happy with these ear plugs. They really have been a gamechanger for me. I might be thinking about getting some Dreams!

As someone who struggles with sensory issues, commuting, work and general events can be pretty overstimulating. I bought the switch 2 specifically because of work but I you’re the switch 2 because I liked the options of how much noise disconnect I was getting. They help immensely at work when the children cry and help drown out the background noise when studying or generally just wanting some quiet. These are amazing and make my life so much easier, I do not regret my purchase and thank you. <333

I got the switch ear plugs. The left one was a little faulty, as the switch mechanism was stiff and hard to turn. I reached out to get it replaced and was sent a new pair. The new ones were better and less difficult to turn but essentially still had the same problem with the left ear plug being more difficult to turn than the right.

They do not filter out nearly enough noise and there is no noticeable difference between the three different modes. I have tried all of the different ear tips in case this was the issue and none of them worked to block out noise.

I feel like I wasted money because these do not block out any noise. I've adjusted the tips and clicked them forward and I can still hear the person talking who sits 8 desks back . For $60 I was hoping these would work for everyone's anticipated return to office. . . . :broken_heart:

I ordered them in black for color neutrality and they are barely even noticeable in my ears, so it doesn't clash with anything I wear. I can block out enough sounds with quiet mode to focus at work, but then pop it down a notch or 2 if I need to talk to someone, so the switching feature is great! I also appreciate the design, it's much more comfortable in my ears than the EarPeace brand. I'm very glad I returned them and bought these instead, they were a bit pricier but worth it for the satisfaction!
