Too expensive and very slimy lately.
I have purchased this brand for a few years but lately (the last four times I purchased)it has been slimy as soon as I open it. It’s always been my favorite sliced ham company but no one in my house will eat it when it is slimy despite still being within the ‘good by’ date.

The last several times I have bought this product it has gone bad way before the expiration date. The current package has an expiration date of 11/12/2026 and it's already slimy. This is a product I've bought for years and never had a problem with until recently.

I was supremely disappointed in this so-called fresh ham. It was so disgustingly slimy when I opened it. There were no foul odors, but who could eat disgusting slimy ham? Like seriously, would anybody buy it twice? Why produce if it comes out slimy and gross? Please do the world a favor and discontinue it.

Slimy Ham
I have purchased two packs of the Prime Fresh Delicatessen Smoked Ham. Both times, from two different Walmarts, there has been a thick slime and an odor. I love this brand ham, have never had an issue until now. What is going on Smithfield.

Rotten Ham
I buy this to make my 6-year-old son sandwiches because he really likes it. Well, this time around, it's very slimy and rotten. I literally bought it only a few days ago and it says to use it by 4/22/26. Today is only 4/12/26 and it's already rancid. They need to do a much better job of making sure foods are good before their workers take it out to customers for curbside.
