Hair In Pepperoni
This is usually a go to buy for me. But I was instantly turned off when I was eating it and there was a thick black hair in it. Hard to shake the feeling of that off.

The product is great. Taste great. Works wonderful for homemade pizza. The only issue is the very bad packaging. It is close to impossible to open. Then I ruined the Ziploc feature. So I place your bag in one of my ziplock bags. Tonight was the 4th bag in a row! There is a saying, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Well it's BROKE!

Package needs more quality control.
For the past 10 packs of the 6oz Original Pepperoni, the package has been terribly hard if not impossible to open. Once opened the seal can't be use and I'm force to use a zip-lock bag to retain freshness.

Very disappointed, unsealed package multiple times for waste
This is probably the 4th or 5th time we came across this issue and I'm annoyed this keeps happening. It absolutely puts me off using this product. Worse still unable to contact a person due to early hours.

Why can't I find pepperoni sticks anymore? Hormel sticks are the only brand I will buy but, here in Florida all I can find is sliced. I would love to get the 8oz sticks or the double pack ones, do you sell them?

I used to buy the 32oz bags of pepperoni every month. But the last 3 months I buy it and get it home after 1 day in the refrigerator it goes bad. I thought it was my refrigerator but had it checked and it's not my refrigerator

@Hormel has done what every other manfacturer has done #here The quality of this product always made the price worthwhile. Sadly, the amount of pepperoni has decreased for the SAME $$$. 🫡 #goodbye

Great taste but crappy packaging
I get the turkey pepperoni to snack on all the time, and it's a great way to low calorie stave off some hunger cravings. The packaging though is no good, and never reseals on any pack I have bought.

Pepperoni was strange consistency
Not sure what's going on with the pepperoni. We got two bags and the consistency was strange. See the pictures below. Coloring and Quality was not good.

Perfect pepperoni every time
I never give 5 stars because there is always room for improvement. I use sliced pepperoni for pizza subs. I slice fresh baked french bread into 6 inch subs. Slice to open up sub. Add pizza sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese, and favoritetoppings. My favorite is onion, black olives and pepperoni. I always use Hormel pepperoni because it just tastes great. It seems to have a better quality than other brands I have tried. I appreciate Hormel's consistency in being a trusted brand in our household. Keep it up Hormel.

No visible expiration date on package
All items should have an expiration date printed clearly on packaging. This product does not. Can't confirm if what I bought is in date or expired. Tossing out. Please fix this health issue.

One of the pouches was not vacuumed sealed!
One pouch was good and the other was not sealed! The pepperonis was brown not a bright red.

I love Hormel pepperoni and it's the best to use for recipes. The problem is that I always run short when I make pepperoni rolls. They sat there is approximately 90 in a container but last time there were 78. I was going to be 6 short and would be fine, but ended up being 18 short. That's 12 slices. Every 8 packs, they owe me more than 1 free pack. Believe me, I buy 8 packs every few months. That's a lot. It's not cheap especially now.

I continually purchase weekly!
I eat every day for lunch using Triscuit crackers with sliced cheese, very fulfilling. No substitutions. Great snack if you are a diabetic, watching your weight or carbs. This has zero sugar; protein is at least 5 g and less sodium than competitors. However, you may need scissors to open as other reviews have mentioned. I open and store in glass Tupperware.

"Use By" date is on the tear off section
I wish the "Use of Freeze By" date was printed on the package body rather than on the edging that gets torn off when the bag is opened. I guess I can grab a Sharpie, but doesn't it make more sense to put that info on the part that's kept??
