A: Hi Megan. Toys that go in the bathtub need to be cleaned extra carefully to avoid water accumulation, which can lead to mold growth over time. Here's our recommended cleaning method to disinfect toys using only natural/non-toxic products: Simply fill a bowl with hot water (about 4 cups) and add in 1/4 cup of vinegar and 2 tablespoons of baking soda (you can also add in a few drops of baby-safe essential oils like Eucalyptus or Mandarin). Place your toys inside your cleaning concoction and suck up some of it to disinfect the interior. Let sit overnight and rinse thoroughly in the morning! The Battat Team

My baby is 10 months old so he isn’t really squeezing them but he plays with them and we squirt the water out for him to play with. The hole is fairly large so it does seem like you’re able to squirt the water out afterwards. I just worry about any toy like this and mold forming on the inside but so far these have been great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves these water toys! We even use them not in the water just to play with the animals name them and make their sounds! The only downside to the squirter ones is that they can hold water and create mold. I just rotate them often but to make more long lasting you can super glue the hole so water doesn’t get in. I will be letting my daughter play with these at her water table outside when it gets warmer!!

I love the vibrant colors and the range of animals. It is very fun and stimulating to my girl. I made up stories using these toys during her bath time. The eyes on the animals are a bit odd but my girl doesn't care at her age. The material seems thick and sturdy. It is easy to clean and dry the surface of the toys. Hopefully they will last for a while.

Gotta be honest, these are not great. The holes are quite big and in weird places so makes it difficult to fill and also squeeze. I'm 37 so imagine what my 2 year old thinks. Cute and float around but that's about it.
