Steer clear of this product!
I am surprised to see that this product is even allowed on the market. They quickly get moldy on the inside, and the company will not fully disclose whether the toys are free of any toxins.

not worth it, they mold inside super quick
they get moldy SO quick. we only had them for a couple months and were only used in the bath maybe 10 times and they got moldy super quick. it's hard to get all the water out no matter how much you squeeze them. not safe especially for little ones who squirt the water in their mouths. disappointing and won't be repurchasing them. they're adorable but that's about it.

Perfect 3D companions for picture books - skipping bath use to avoid mold
Bought these ocean squirters specifically to give my 5-month-old 3D animal figures to go with his picture books, not for bath time. The holes for squirting water are a mold risk, so I use them as dry toys instead. They're perfect for this purpose. The colors are bright and vibrant, which catches his attention during reading time. The size is just right for his little hands to grab and hold. When we read ocean-themed books, I can show him the real 3D version of the animals on the pages, which seems to help him make connections. He loves grabbing the turtle and examining all the details. They're sturdy enough that I don't worry about them breaking when he chews or throws them. Much better quality than typical plastic animal figures you'd find elsewhere, and the realistic shapes and colors make them great learning tools.

MOLDY after a few uses!
I have occasionally used the turtle in my daughter's bath since she was 3 months old. I always squirt all the water out at the end of each bath. She is 6 months old and the other day I squirt the turtle and MOLD was sprayed into her bath!!! When I hold the animal up to the light I can see a bunch of dark spots which are mold. Absolutely disgusting!
