Q: How are these supposed to dry out the inside with 1 tiny hole? I bought these for my grandson but his mother won't let him play with them after researching about the mold that grows inside.

I bought this item because my baby is currently teething in the stage where she puts everything on her mouth. These toys are cute ! Not super soft but good for my current teether. They float and are bright in color so she can grab them easly and when she is a little older , they can squart water for fun. I really like these toys. I did price check and they are about the same price anywhere you buy them.

Cute but mold magnets. Sad we will be getting rid of them as they are adorable. I had them on my baby registry but should have thought about the potential mold issue. Even with a bleach bath and a vinegar bath they still ended up getting moldy. Will have to seek out an alternative for my baby.

Im seriously so impressed, these toys are amazing! I definitely recommend buying them. Although, when I got them, the shark toy started saying "Fix on, michin pomeul ollyeo, gajyeowa nae teuropi, sidong georeo i turbine, pull up the drop beat taewobeoryeo pumpin (woah)" should I be concerned?

I am on my 3rd set of these and despite clearing the water out of them after each bath and storing them in a dry location, they still mold inside…then when squirted, the mold comes out. I don’t want my toddler ingesting this stuff, so I’m tossing them to find toys without a hole in it.

These are so cute. Love the different characters and colors. Taught my toddler the animal names and then used them to teach her colors. We have some colored cups so they’re also used for matching color games at bath time. We also use them and sing songs - baby shark, slippery fish, etc. A little over two and she was able to squeeze and squirt some of the animals herself. The puffer fish is really tough to squeeze. So far I haven’t noticed any mold/mildew squirting out; I squeeze out all the water after bath, hole facing down and continue to pump a few times even when no water is coming out. The only negative is that I wished the animals would float upright but it’s not really a big deal. Definitely recommend. If I can catch them on sale I want to buy the farm animal set too.

These toys are SO cute and my daughter loved them, so it is with a heavy heart I report we had to throw them out today after 7 months of use. I knew mold was a potential issue with toys like this, so I always made sure to squeeze out all the water and let them dry after use. Eventually though I did notice mold came out when squeezed, so we put them in a bleach bath, and did lots of squeezing to try to get them clean. Unfortunately the mold remained even after, confirmed by cutting one open. We will never buy any bath toys like this ever again. I only recommend solid toys that will not trap water at all. Thankfully she also enjoys playing with a dishwasher safe plastic cup, a very simple and effective bath toy that can be cleaned often and thoroughly. Skip these, buy some cute cups instead.
