CUTE but NOT IDEAL
It does not have an off and on button. The toy itself was really cool. It seemed like the toy was running all night even out of the water. When the next time for a shower came we couldn’t turn it on because the battery had died after one use (brand new batteries). After replacing the battery with new batteries the toy started working again. It’s cute, it works. However replacing the battery every time isn’t ideal.

If I could give no stars I would. Perhaps our whale is defective. The darn thing won't turn off. We did open heart surgery on it to see if anything was messing with it. Nothing. If we don't take the batteries out, it would make noise all night, desperately searching for water. Poor whale. Poor wallet. Save your money and buy from Amazon.

A Winner!
This bath toy is a REAL winner! My kids all love playing with this thing in the tub. It shoots out water the whole time they are in the tub and glows up in different colors. It floats nicely and isn't very noisy at all. It is so cute! It's definitely worth the price for all the fun it brings in the bathtub and would make such a cute gift for a little one as well. When you're done with bathtub time, just dry off the little sensors on the bottom of the whale so it will turn off and not waste any battery. Highly recommend!
