just like the other reviewers ours stopped working after the first use.

Does not last long and it stop working

didnt even last 3 baths with my one year old. Not baby friendly as it didnt survive my old year old taking in and out of the water.

It broke after first use. When it worked it had lights and sprayed water

Fun and colorful but doesn't work well enough for the price tag. Sprays intermittently. Colors are good.

Our LO loved this during bath time.. but it completely stopped working 1 week into using it (it only ever floated around, she loved watching it spray and light up but never hit it or anything). Lights went out and although you can hear the pump running, the water stopped coming out. Put brand new batteries in it again to see if that was the issue but it wasn’t. Not worth the buy

It broke after a few uses

There was a story aired on the news about similar item. the inside of the toy grew mold and a harmful bacteria a mother was unaware of. as you can not see inside the toy. in the bathtub, the infant was playing with the toy and the water sprayed in the infants eye. Do to the mold inside the toy from moisture, a rate bacteria developed a paralyzing eating flesh disorder and traveled to the baby's brain. stores should consider pulling these items from company's that don't test enough for safety off the shelf.

I want to love it because when it works it’s great, but the batteries died super quick. We changed them and now it literally does not turn off unless you take the batteries out. My kid loves it so now every time I have to unscrew the bottom before and after use, super annoying

Such a cute fun bath toy. My little one LOVES it. We love that it squirts up water and changes colors. Bath toys that have water pumps are VERY unpredictable on how long they will last. We have had it 1 month and changed the batteries once. I thought it had stopped working, but it was just the batteries. I like the sensor on it, so as soon as it hits the water the pump and lights turn on. This thing is durable. I have a 20 month old son who likes to throw things, turn the whale upside down in the water, pick up and put it down repeatedly. This toy has lasted longer than any other water pump toy.

Doesn't work. Put in the batteries, sat it in the bathtub with my son and never turned on, no lights, no water and no directions in or on the box regarding how to get it to work.

This can be used in a bath or pool, so technically it's suitable for indoor and outdoor use. I think it would be extra fun for it to be used if it's dark due to its changing colors.
