A: No, you don't need to fill the elephant with water. However, for the toy to work properly, the bathtub or sink should be filled with at least 4 inches (10 cm) of water so the elephant can draw water from it.

Q: I opened the battery compartment today after realizing my baby's baths seemed very dirty and they were new batteries but there was battery acid leaking and a black substance .. why did this happen?

A: Hello, Children’s safety is always our priority, and we would like to guarantee you that all our bath toys are checked for waterproof IPX07 the same as for watches operating under water and are tested vigorously tested one by one, to be fully sealed. In general, all our bath toys require special care to avoid being damage, molds , corrosion and for it to lasts long. Have you been rinsing it well in clear water after use to remove soap residue before allowing it to drain and dry out? Battery acid or oxidization usually happens if the battery compartment is not closed properly or if the batteries are left inside the toy if it’s not use for long period of time which also causes corrosion around the battery compartment . We always recommend making sure the battery cover is properly closed and sealed. As well as every after several use, we always recommend a thorough cleaning of the bath toys by filling up a bucket with water and add in some vinegar. Let the toy soak in the vinegar water for around 20 minutes, then rinse it off and dry using a paper or cloth towel. A: Hello , We recommend bathtub should be filled at least 4 inch (10 cm). But before you can start enjoying your new bath pal, batteries must be inserted. We strongly recommend using new, good quality batteries to ensure optimal operation over time. It is highly important to insert the batteries correctly and make sure the battery compartment is tightly sealed before putting the elephant in the water. We also recommend not using rechargeable batteries.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very cute and fun bath toy. It makes a pretty solid shower stream of water and is a lot of fun. My only complaint is that it doesn’t really stand up very well on its own. It’s a softer rubber and well made. My son is 3 years old and has no problem using this in the tub and it keeps him busy. It also takes 4 AA batteries which are not included with the purchase of this item. I received an incentive to write this review.

It’s so cute, I really love the elephant and the long truck, and once my baby is older I’m sure they’ll love that design element too! This makes bathtime fun for me and easier for my baby. Instead of using my hand to splash water over my baby to keep them warm, I am able to use the spray which is much more effective and convenient, and also helps my little one get used to the feeling of water, which I think will help in the future! It does need to be used for supervision because otherwise my 18 month old would definitely be spraying himself in the face constantly. That being said the water pressure that comes out of the spout is perfect, not too strong or anything. This also helps wash out shampoo from my older son, who is almost 5- without him freaking out! It is very cute and handed when giving my little one a bath. He will enjoy playing with it as he gets older too I’m sure. It has decent pressure and is so cute. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bath toy is so cute and functional. My son was so excited to take a bath knowing there was an elephant in the tub. I did struggle to get the battery compartment open but once I did it was easy to assemble. The bath does need to be filled enough for it to work at its max potential but other than that it works well. I did start to see some mildew spots under the elephants ears so I am not sure how to properly clean this product to avoid mold. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little elephant is a bath toy and a bath helper all in one, I got it for my toddler but both my baby and toddler can use it, I can use it to wash both babies hair, the little shower stream is easier than just pouring water on them, but also the elephant is so cute my 3 year old likes to use it to “wash” herself, at first she couldn’t press it herself, there are 2 buttons that have to be pushed in order for the water to run but now she can do it herself and she loves to help wash her baby brother, it’s fun but I don’t see it lasting too long as most bath toys like this usually don’t I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an adorable bath toy for my kids. All of my kids love this toy (4 year old, 2 and 1 year old). They use this to help bathe each other and role play which is really cool! The toy itself does not come with batteries, and requires 4 AA. The battery storage is easily removed twisted with a butter knife, which I appreciate because my kids won’t be able to open themselves. In order to initially get the toy to work, you do have to submerge it into water and turn on its side to let the filter fill up first. I would highly reccomend! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This yookidoo elephant baby shower is a fun toy for the bath tub, especially for my child that does not get super excited for bath night. It is a little difficult for a child to maneuver on their own as the elephant sprayer was not easily sucking water. We spent a lot of our bath time trying to get the water to spray and my children were upset about that. This toy also requires four batteries which adds to the cost so I probably wouldn’t purchase again. I received an incentive to write this review.

It works great and for a child who hated having water poured on him he doesn’t mind rinsing himself with this toy. He runs it for the entire bath every night and we haven’t had any issues with it! I am a hairdresser and I perm my sons hair at home, because it’s easier to rinse him in the sink then at the salon. I wasn’t sure how this would work out. I was plesently surprised at how strong the water pressure was. It was easy to use also. He wants to use this in the bathtub also. It was easy for him to push the buttons himself also! Double win ! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wish I had this when my child was a baby! The stream is gentle with just enough pressure to rinse off soap or shampoo. My toddler was excited to play with it in the bath. The button to run the stream is on both sides of the handle, so there’s flexibility on which hand to use. The elephant needs to be submerged a little in the water, so I haven’t had issues with this in the big tub but unsure how it’ll stay submerged in smaller baby tubs. I haven’t checked if any water got into the battery area but the instructions mention to make sure the red indicator lines match up to prevent this. This item requires 4 AA batteries, and I’m not sure how long they will last yet- so far so good the few times we’ve used it but tbd. My biggest concern is if things will get moldy. I hung up the elephant to dry, but no matter how much I shook the nozzle you could still hear a little water sloshing around. Overall I found it useful, but wish it was easier to clean and didn’t need so many batteries. I received an incentive to write this review.

The elephant has to be submerged just right and the wand seems to want to crimp pretty easy which can affect water flow. Once we got the hang of it - then we had no issues and it was great. It also uses 4 double a batteries which as we all know with inflation adds quite a bit to the cost so value is hard to truly calculate. But we love the toy! It’s definitely a favorite and I love that it uses the bath water and allows him to use the “sprayer” without adding any more water to the tub. The elephant doesn’t stand up super well in the bathtub and falls over. It takes some shifting sometimes to let it fill up with water to spray depending on how much water is in the bathtub. It’s also so useful to use to rinse off her hair, etc with less chance of getting water in her eyes than with just pouring from a cup. After the bath, I just keep pushing the button until all of the water goes through the top but my one concern would be if it starts to get gross I’m not sure how I would clean the inside. I have had this for maybe like 5 months now and use it probably every other day in the bath for my 2 year old and it hasn't given out on me, oozed mold or anything weird. I just make sure to let it run and hang it upside down to dry after each use. I'm sure, just like any other kids toy in water made of plastic that it will get gross over time, but for the price It hasn't done me wrong yet. I'll def order another one soon. I like it because it allows me to rinse my daughters hair and body easier than using a cup or my hands. She likes it because she can spray water everywhere.

I got this for my kids for Christmas. They loved it! It worked for a month and it stopped working. Couldn’t hear the motor or anything. So upset it only worked a month.
