Nice glasses until the design starts peeling off

I really liked these glasses--except for when the writing/design started peeling off less than three months after having them. I never put them in the dishwasher, and I carefully hand-wash them every time. Worse yet: Target wouldn't even consider a partial refund or a replacement--even though they are clearly defective. Great design, terrible quality. Very disappointed.
