Q: I love my new mirror but I want to hang it. Why are you not supposed to use a wire on the back? It seems silly to me but there is a sticker specifically saying not to and I would like to know why.

  • A: Hi megan m - This is a great question, I'm very glad you asked! Heavier framed mirrors are art pieces often are not designed to be hung with wire due to the amount of excess stress the wire creates on the frame. This stress can cause the frame to break and fall to the ground. We don’t want you to damage your new item or anything else in your home! We recommend that you use two screws in the wall to hang this mirror. I hope this helps to clarify! - Katrina

    I wanted this mirror so I took the chance of ordering even though the reviews say it comes broken… well I should’ve listened because it came so broken that we couldn’t even fullt open the box because the glass pieces started falling out.     Beautiful mirror

    This mirror is beautiful! It looks similar to other mirrors I've seen online, but this one is cheaper. It was also easy to hang up with the included wall anchors, and there was even a paper template to use to make it easier to measure where to drill holes. I was a little nervous to order this after seeing so many reviews from people who received a broken mirror, but mine arrived in great condition and was packaged well.

    Worth multiple delivery attempts

    I am absolutely tickled with this mirror. It does show a bit of joinery (likely why the other reviewer felt it looked cheap), but only visible up close. The shape is great and I’m going to paint it to match my mantle. It’s the perfect size over a fireplace, though. And for some reason this is a hard size to find! It did take two tries with delivery, but a Christmas miracle made sure the second one arrived in one piece.

    Mirror came broken

    The mirror came broken. Was left on my porch. I went to pick up the box and cut my hand and got shards of glass in my fingers. After taking care of that, put work gloves on and took it to my local store to return. Wish I could buy instore as I'm afraid to order again.

    It will come broken, don't even try

    I thought mine would be different. The mirror came shattered with thousands of tiny pieces of glass everywhere in the box. Just don’t do it :(
