OXO Glass Deep Dish Pie Plate with Lid: Round Pie Pan & Carrier, Dishwasher-Safe, 44.8 Volume Capacity

I bought this so that I could freeze pies to eat later. The description said it could go in the freezer, and I thought it meant that I could freeze food in it. But the top has venting holes. Improperly sealed pie pan tops cause freezer burn faster because they expose the food to dry, cold air. Freezer burn makes food dry and tasteless.

This is my third one that I've bought, and I've also given as a housewarming gift! It is just right!

My favorite pie/casserole dish ever! It's deep enough, wide enough, easy enough to get clean and it comes with a handy lid.

How is it going to keep my cheesecake fresh (and bugs out) if there are four big ol' HOLES in the top!?

Based on the product photo I wasn’t sure it would be big enough, but it is. I got it because it covers pies better than using crummy foil paper.

I loved that it was a big compared to the pie pan I already have. I loved that it also comes with the lid and I purchased 3 of them and I absolutely love them I would highly recommend

My only complaint is that the lid is a little too tall for fridge space because typically my pies aren't that tall. Otherwise I really like it, and am glad I purchased for the holidays.

I absolutely love this pie pan! The pan, itself, is well made and has a good heft to it. It’s also nice and deep. I used my red Farberware Baker’s Advantage ceramic pie plate for several years; however, I have been wanting to try out a glass plate for a few different reasons. Over the years, I have perused the various highly-recommended glass pie plates, but none of them were deep enough for my liking. I recently searched again and discovered this bad boy. It was plenty deep, was made by a brand I trust, AND came with a lid! Bonus! I immediately ordered one. To my dismay, when it arrived, and I opened it up, I discovered that the plastic lid was cracked. It is unfortunate that such a nice, beefy pie pan comes with a flimsy plastic lid. Luckily, however, this product is covered under OXO’s “Better Guarantee.” Best of all, you can file a claim online—no having to deal with a nightmare 800-number call. The Better Guarantee warranty form can be accessed here: https://faq.oxo.com/contact/warranty-form-oxo-SkjU7fn8q. I filed my claim and heard back from OXO customer service in only one business day. They confirmed that my lid was covered under their Better Guarantee and then told me that a whole new pie pan with lid was already on the way! My new pan/lid arrived a mere three days later, and this second lid is fully intact. So, while the lid is flawed, OXO stands behind their products and will replace your lid—well, apparently you get a whole new pie pan too. I have decided to give this pie pan an overall 5-star rating but a 4-star rating on quality based on the lid alone. The pan, itself, is definitely a 5-star product when it comes to quality.

Lid came broken, despite being well packed

The glass pie dish is 5 stars. The lid is one star. It only rests on the pie dish. A lid for glass should fit and seal to the dish - otherwise what's the point. One can cover with a piece of foil or plastic wrap or rest a plate on it. And there are vents in the lid- not desired when one wants to limit air flow and maintain freshness.

I bought this for the lid. And happy I did it great to be able to cover the pie in the dish. Especially great for cream pies.

Lid has holes. Did not see that listed in description. Makes lid useless for my needs.

As others have said before, the lid came broken, the pie plate is great- I just wish it had a lid.
