Q: I cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove the center pole to make this a cake carrier. It just keeps spinning.

A: Same problem! The "Targaret staff support" answer is usless. The pole does NOT screw into the flat plate. It is just a "jam-fit." I used a screw driver to loosen the pole from the bottom of plate.

A: I had the same problem. The plastic 'pole' has a threaded end that screws into the larger base, the one which reverses to a cake plate. So turn it counter-clockwise the way you would undo a screw.

was so excited for this but the design for it to switch from cupcakes to cake is ridiuclous bc you still have the cupcake insert on the bottom that you have to place the cake ontop which leaves the cake lopsided but then first use handle broke and cake fell on the floor still in the case but cake broke in half!!

This is not worth your money. Nothing stays stable inside it (the tiered muffin holder spins around and when you attempt to turn it into a cake/pie holder the bottom plate also slides around), and after using it twice, One of the bottom locks broke off and caused my pie to tumble toward the ground. I do not recommend this product and will be returning it.

Great and versatile for the price
I don’t bake a lot of cakes or cupcakes but decided to get this when I had to transport a cake for my mom. It’s so versatile. You can store muffins, cupcakes, small and bigger cakes easily. You can even pair a small cake with a few cupcakes. It’s easy to take apart and put back together. And it’s not stupid expensive like other cake carriers. The latches hold very well too. Glad I got it. Will probably mostly be used for breakfast muffins lol.

Only good for cupcakes
This advertises as reversible, for cake/pie and cupcakes. Notice none of the pictures show it holding a cake (which is the main reason I bought it). When you flip it over to use for cake, the whole thing balances on a tiny center circle which makes the entire thing unstable. If your cake is even slightly off centered, it will tip over!

When I got it home and went to clean it before using it there was old frosting still stuck to. I took a pic. I reached out to the store and didn’t hear anything back from them. Handle Can't be Trusted
If only it had a sturdy handle. There is a lot to appreciate about this cake carrier, however, the handle broke after just a few uses. Thankfully it broke just as I was going to sit a cake down my wife made otherwise it would have been a disaster. I can trust this carrier to even think of buying my wife another one. If you only plan on using once, good luck, but if you plan to use multiple times, don't waste you money nor the time you likely but into whatever baked good you'd plan on transporting in it.
