Q: Are both piece of this cake stand/dome dishwasher safe? If not, why not? It's glass, but I notice it says to hand wash. Why is that?

Q: Is this one rotating (turnable) to work on decorating cake?

Q: How deep is the Dome? 10"? 13"? Can that be added to the description?
A: Above answer not correct. The depth is only about 4-5"

A: It is as airtight as any glass cake dome I've had. .. .It is fine. .

Q: How do I attach the stand to the plate?
