[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Libbey Selene Glass Cake Stand with Dome is very chic and and simple. It is fairly heavy since it is made of glass. It’s a good size, normal size for a cake to be put inside. Overall, it’s a very nice cake stand! Being glass is the only thing that concerns me.

The glass is beautiful and shiny, and the packaging wasn't damaged at all! It's a very decent sized stand, and is pretty tall, so a big cake won't have any problem in this item. It's very durable and the fact that it's glass is so awesome. It's also pretty big and spacious. It's definitely already my favorite because I love baking cakes and cupcakes so much and presenting a cake on the table in this dish is just beautiful. I highly recommend it!

Doesn't seal well
The cover doesn't line up perfectly with the base so it doesn't feel perfectly sealed and it rattles if the table shifts or if you move it. Not very impressed.

Very elegant & beautiful stand. The bottom stand laid flat on a surface. Glass dome is heavy. Might buy doilies for the plate since it can be a little tricky to arrange cookies; they slide all over the plate. Only imperfection is visible tiny bubbles where the stand is glued/attached to the plate. Nothing major though.

Beautiful piece
It is a beautiful piece and a nice size. It can very nicely display a large cake or arrange if scones, donuts and/or muffins. The one detail I would advise to a customer, if you are gifting it, before you wrap it, wash it. I purchase two snd they were both coated with dust. I not sure if the manufacturer can do anything different in the packaging process but I found it odd.

The quality of glass is not as expected from Libbey. The level of the base of the Cake Stand is not steady. The Cake Stand is not steady on the flat surface. Overall size and shape of the stand is very great and satisfying.

Beautiful glass cake stand with dome arrived quickly and was packed well. So elegant and well made. Was gift for grand daughter who at 12 has started to make specialty cakes. She was thrilled with this gift and hopefully will enjoy for many years.

Great quality and beautiful design
Very happy with this cake stand/dome. It's very attractive, solidly made and doesn't have visible seams from the manufacturing process. It's pretty enough to leave out all the time. Also of interest is that it looks a lot like a handblown/handmade model from a New England glass company but it's MUCH less expensive.
