submitted by Lope - 11 months ago
  • A: The Intex Ultra Plush 20" Queen Air Mattress has a built-in 120V pump, made for U.S. outlets. To use it in a country with 220V, you'll need a step-down voltage converter. Alternatively, look for the 220V version sold in international markets.

Q: can you sleep on this bed right away the first night or do you have to wait 24hrs?

submitted by Ty - 3 years ago
  • A: Use it right away. Just be mindful, though, that PVC stretches -- so, it will appear to "lose some air" the first night (the surface area just stretched and grew). Not as much an issue for TPU beds.

submitted byTT - 3 years ago
  • A: Hello Ty. Once fully inflated, you airbed is ready to use. Please note, when air beds are new, the PVC it is made out of will stretch. This will make it seem like the air bed is leaking, but it’s just stretching out with the same amount of air inside. This will make the air bed softer after sleeping on it, but this process will stop after a few uses. We hope you found this information helpful.

Q: Does the pump have an auto shut off feature when fully inflated?

submitted by Sunshine - 4 years ago
  • A: Hi Sunshine. The pump does not have an auto shut off, however the pump has a maximum pressure it will inflate. So you do not need to worry about over inflating with the pump.

submitted byTlagun - 4 years ago
  • A: No. The internal pump does not have an auto shut off. We hope you found this information helpful.

Q: is this firm? don't want a soft bed.

submitted by stacey - 5 years ago
  • A: The firmness of the bed depends on how much you inflate it. Just inflate fully for a more firm bed. A good tip for a brand new bed is to inflate it the night before your first use. The material will stretch at first, but once it stretches after that first night you should be good to go for maintained firmness throughout the night.

  • A: The firmness of the bed depends on how much you inflate it. NOTE: To prevent bursting, do not over inflate. We hope this information is helpful and if you need further assistance please call our Service Center at 1-800-234-6839.

Q: What is the difference between the plush intex queen and the other intex 20inch mattress . They are the same price

submitted by marlene - 5 years ago
  • A: Please contact the Service Center at 1-800-234-6839 with the product numbers for each airbed you want to compare. This way the Service Center can properly compare the exact airbeds you are referencing and provide you with accurate information.

submitted byIntex Consumer Support - 5 years ago

  • A: Hi Marlene. I think you are referring to the Dual Layer Airbed, Target DPCI 337-03-1850 as a comparison. They are both similar queen size beds and feature dura-beam technology. The beds do have different construction. The Dual Layer Airbed features a distinct top layer that makes it ideal for fitted sheets to wrap and tuck into. The Ultra Plush Airbed shown here has a unique plush top pattern for added comfort as well as top edge banding to maximize sleeping surface area. Each airbed offered has distinct and unique features, its just a matter of preference what makes the most sense for you.

submitted by Cookie - 2 months ago
  • A: To inflate the Intex Ultra Plush 20" Queen Air Mattress, plug in the built-in pump, turn the control dial clockwise to the inflation mark, and toggle the power switch to "on". The mattress will fully inflate in about 4–5 minutes. Once firm, turn the dial back to the center and turn off the switch.

Additional product information and recommendations

Guests are saying

The air mattress has received mixed reviews. While some guests found it comfortable, easy to set up, and durable for short-term use, many others experienced issues with it deflating quickly, having a strong plastic smell, and not holding air well. The built-in pump and height were appreciated, but the overall reliability and longevity were major concerns.

    Great product for the price!

User friendly, inflates within a couple of minutes, firm and comfortable to sleep on. Tall enough to sit on like a couch or chair. Internal air pump is loud so you should inflate before people around you are sleeping.

    Waste of money

The air pump stopped working 35 days after I bought it. Target would not take it back and give me a refund. I bought a separate air pump to blow it up, since they wouldn’t take it back. Now after three months, there’s a huge hole in the mattress and I’ll have to buy a new one anyway. This mattress is a joke, and Target is wrong for not giving a refund on a defective product. Don’t waste your money.

If you only want to use it one time and throw it away, this is the one for you

Intex really got kind of garbage. We bought this while visiting family used it for two nights brought it home blew it up for other family in the next weekend and it already doesn’t hold air so essentially used it one time and now it doesn’t work. And this isn’t the first time this has happened with Intex brand I should’ve known better than to buy one of these.

    Not even worth $10

Worst air mattress I’ve ever used. Deflates constantly, the back pain I’ve had while using this has been horrible. Of course there are no returns so this will just be getting thrown out. Do not buy.

    perfect for temporary use

got mine on sale for like 40-50 bucks. perfect for temporary use/camping, true queen size with inflatable pump inside. same size as my bed. ready to use out of box while i was moving. works well and soft, with "fuzzy" top. it does "deflate" a bit after couple beginning use, but nothing crazy and holds up well. easily able to just add air in when you wake up or before you sleep. in questions, the rep says it's "stretching." i guess.. but its supremely comfy and air adjustable. love mine for the price I got it.

    Worth the price!!!!!

I love how comfortable it was. I slept on the mattress for a whole week and not one time did I have to put air back in. I also love how easy it was to deflate the mattress.

    Comfy but the smell!

I thought it was comfortable overall. Used once so not sure how long it’ll hold up. However the smell was too strong and took awhile to air out. Smelled like chemicals like cheap gel nail polish.

    Good for 3 nights

Ours came used (had dog hair on it) but we had to use it anyways (Christmas Eve). It held air and was pretty comfy for two 20 year olds to sleep on for 3 nights but then it stopped holding air.

    Doesnt hold air

Could be a great air mattress but after two uses it stopped holding air. I cannot keep it inflated for any worthwhile amount of time. Seems to be the common flaw in this product.
