The INTEX® 20in Queen Thermalux Microcell Airbed with Fiber-Tech interior construction features a Microcell contour top, the extra soft tri-layer weave insulates in cold weather and wicks moisture in warm humid weather, providing true 4 season comfort.   • A: This bed has an internal pump that plugs into a standard electrical outlet, batteries are not required. Intex does offer another bed that uses batteries. If you search 337-03-8428 you can find that model. This bed does have a manual inflation port in the cord storage compartment. This port is there so you can use one of Intex's handheld pumps and inflate the bed when you don't have access to an electrical outlet.

After using this air mattress twice and in less than a year since purchasing, the air is completely leaking out of this air mattress. It was always kept in its bag and placed on carpet so there was no way it oculd have been punctured by us. When I reached out to target for help customer service said there was nothing they could do.

I’m not sure why or how other people’s air mattress is deflating except that maybe they’re not setting it up right ? When you don’t have the switch set on to the correct setting, then yes air comes out, you have to switch it to the right side. My mother made this mistake and was wondering why it kept deflating like some of those in these comments, but I ended up fixing it for her. No deflation overnight, and when I visit her and we’re both on the bed it stays firm with no air expelling. Please read the directions when you get this item

Does not hold air after several months

The first couple of months with this airbed was fine. We use it weekly in the basement for "camp outs" in the basement. Five months later, the airbed is inflated, and in the middle of the night I am on the floor. There are no apparent holes and cannot see/hear air leaking so it is unclear why the airbed is losing air. I have reached out to Intex 6 times to submit a warrranty claim, and the warranty keeps getting cancelled by Intex. The effort to get a warranty replacement has been ongoing for 2 months, and has been nothing but a hassle. I would avoid Intex products in the future.

The instructions say it should deflate a little in fist few nights. Well if a little means flat on the floor with about 25% air, then be aware. It’s a piece of junk. Had to fill up three times in an 8 hr night.
