Q: Can the bulb be changed once it dies out

I think you get what you pay for here. It was on sale for $11.99, which is why I chose it. It has two lighting options, a warm and a cooler option. It also came with four AA batteries. But, it only worked as expected the first night I bought it. Each time I use it, the brightness of each setting is dimmer than the last.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry your light became dimmer after the first use. Please try a fresh set of AA batteries to see if that restores the brightness. If the issue continues, please contact LUXPRO customer service at 801-553-8886 for assistance.

    This little guy surprised me

This little lantern is great. It has warm light that you can turn up to a white brighter light. I was not expecting that or how bright it got. It's compact and is pretty good quality. Does take four AA batteries but I have those laying around and it came with batteries. For the price and how it works it is worth it. Only used it one weekend so I can't speak to the longevity yet.

    Fantastic little lantern!

This thing is great, far exceeded my expectiations. When I bought it, I did not realize there are two seperate light sources. The old fashioned yellow filiments that give off a nice soft yellow light and when you crank it up, there is a brilliant white light that really lights up a room. I was was looking for a battery powered light so I could change the batteries, rather than wait for it to charge up. It is durable, well made and as I mentioned has a great range from warm mellow light to bright daytime light. I recommend this light highly and may buy a couple more.

We got 3 of these lanterns for potential power outages at our home and cabin. It is compact, stylish and can be dimmed or bright. Fair price. Highly recommend!

    excellent

this is a nice high quality lantern at a decent price. One rating( two stars) states that it is stated that the lantern can be charged via USB. That is incorrect. To set the record straight, the description clearly states it's battery charged. USB is not mentioned anywhere as a power source.

LUXPRO Portable Camp Lantern – 5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I brought this lantern on a Father’s Day camping trip and it worked great. It provided plenty of light around our campsite after dark and was easy to carry around. I like that it’s compact enough to pack without taking up much space. Definitely a great camping essential and something I’ll keep on hand for future trips.

    Product description is wrong

In the app it says this lantern has USB power source but that is not correct. It only runs on 4AA batteries and is not rechargeable.
1 reply from Luxpro Product Expert team - 2 months ago
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we apologize for the incorrect product information. You are correct—this lantern operates on four AA batteries and is not USB-rechargeable. We have corrected the listing to prevent further confusion.

    BEST LANTERN EVER

I love this lantern! I can use it camping and it always gives off the right amount of light because of the dimmable feature. The battery life is great, and it is so light and easy to get around! I also like the light blue color.

Cute and practical lantern for summer nights

I love the vintage inspired look, reminds me of the one my dad used to have! This lantern gets BRIGHT! I've used it on my balcony and it lights up the whole space! Great for camping, or keeping around during storms and power outages. It feels sturdy, gives off a nice glow, and looks a lot more expensive than it is.

    Nice Lantern

First Impression: This lantern was smaller than I expected and I was disappointed that it was plastic, not aluminum like many other LUXPRO products. The dial to change the mode is easy to use and controls the brightness level and modes perfectly. The metal “hook”(I think of it as a handle not a hook) is strong which makes it convenient for carrying the light. Brightness: It is a good brightness for a lantern, the warm modes aren’t so bright that it hurts to look at the lantern when holding it and for the cool modes the LEDs are not visible when holding it so even at max brightness its not blinding! Beam Quality: It provides 360 Degrees of light perfectly! Build Quality: The lantern appears to be built well, but I wish it wasn’t plastic. Battery Life: The lantern’s battery life is great. I still haven’t had to replace the batteries after a weeklong camping trip. Final Thoughts: The lantern is easy to use and has no major flaws. It would be better if it was made of metal, rechargeable batteries or maybe a clip to hang the lantern. The brightness is perfect for most scenarios, especially camping! I would definitely recommend this lantern.
