There were not many skin colors in the box. There was even bright orange in the box. I think was put into the wrong box.

No light shades
Mostly shades of brown. The picture shows various shades from light to dark colors but there was only one light color, three in shades of orange and the rest are shades of brown. The picture is either deceiving or the box has the wrong colors

"unfortunately, crayola wins this round..."
the crayons work just fine. mondo llama is always my favorite. however, all the colors either look the same or have a very red undertone. unfortunately, crayola wins this round.

Not a wide variety, but ok for .80¢
The box says “colors may vary”, but there’s not much variation at all. I think my kids will still have to use orange to color themselves because there’s still not accurate representation in the box.

Flesh tones
So glad I got these while they were still available. Got three packs to give one to my nieces and nephews.

Break easily
I wanted to like these crayons but compared to other brands, they break really easily and don’t work quite as well

ok but break easy
They are less expensive than crayola but they break so easily. I think i would recommend crayola over these. The quality just isnt there with mondo crayons.

Good Idea, Poor Quality
I love the idea, but the execution is horrible. The quality of these crayons made me realize why Crayola is so successful. These are very waxy and hard to use. Spend the extra and buy Crayola’s version

Hues of you
Not the greatest quality but decent for the price. I’m just using them for fun, so i’m not too picky on the quality. Colors are okay, most are warm toned and some you need to put a lot of pressure to see pigment. Overall excited to use these :)

Skin colors all broken, but classics are fine?
The classic colors came fine, but the hues of you crayons are all broken. I hope this is a coincidence.

Decent for what it is
A few repeat colors and some strange color choices, but all in all it’s great for what it’s for - giving more hair and skin tone choices in kids drawings. I find the mondo llama crayons to break more easily than crayola, but it’s not a deal breaker since my kids are small.

Llama Llama
I have never been happier with the purchase of any single item. The hues of you crayons provide a relieving experience! So many years, during childhood especially, were spent with ONE color to express skin complexion. Now whenever I draw using Mondo Llama's crayons I can provide adequate attention to detail in non-toxic "wax pastel"

Closer to peoples poop in color than skin tone
If these crayons had been true to the selection shown in the box they would be a great widely used set. Unfortunately once opened all that is available is a small range of browns and mostly oranges. I thought the purpose of these sets were so that we wouldn’t have to use unrealistic colors when coloring people but it’s as if you all just selected the most “unhumane” colors you could find and threw them in a box. Not sure if an employee was having a bad day or what, but my children one of which is half Vietnamese and quite olive and the other who has an ivory almost translucent skin tone can not find there shade in this box. The colors are just not pretty either so probably won’t be using them for anything else either unless a project comes up about the digestive system :-( lol.

Straight garbage
I want my 75¢ back… that’s how disappointing these crayons are. I’ll stick to Crayola. Even my 3 year old was confused. She colors pretty hard on the paper and the pigments still didn’t transfer.

No Color Variety
Many of the crayons look similar in color. There is only one light skin color shade, and no color to represent an Asian skin tone. There are also three orange crayons that somehow have different names. I’m wondering if this batch is defective as they do not look as advertised on the box. There is also a darker brown shade labeled “Eggshell”, which doesn’t seem correct.

Just spend the extra on the crayola
The colors are not as different as advertised, I wish I would have just spent the extra for the crayola. I usually like the target brand school supplies but this was disappointing
