It's compact so it's great for travel but it's an open box with no lid so you have to buy a separate case if you want to carry it along. Also, the colors aren't as pigmented and there's not color names on the barrel. However, because it's not as pigmented, the color doesn't transfer easily on clothes.

We love anything Crayola in our household. We prefer these when we do not want to sharpen the regular Crayola crayons. You just have to twist them up and not worry about the tip being dull. Love that the colors in these are just like the regular box of crayons. My only critique would be to have the color names placed on the twistable somewhere because otherwise you do not know which one is which. Some colors look too close to one another.

I bought these to encourage my daughter to use her coloring book and it was a fail. The colors are not vibrant at all. Crayola has cheapened their products since when I was a kid. It feels like trying to color using candle sticks, to be honest.

We have these in regular size from a big box and wanted to get mini for an upcoming trip. While the Target description says “mini” it doesn’t actually say that on the box anywhere and they are just regular size, in which case we wouldn’t have bought more because we could have just used the ones that we have. That being said in general they are not very precise to color with BUT are great for toddlers because they don’t break. At first when I was gifted Twistables I was annoyed with the plastic waste but once we used them I realized how perfect they are for toddlers.

The WORST! Got these as a gift - complete mess! My kid had to re-shower two times because it got on their skin, very waxy and not easy to get off - still on them in fact and now they are in tears. These ruined washcloths and the verdict is still out on whether this will come out of the tub and tile. Pics don’t give justice to what I am trying to get out. Two thumbs down.

The one thing I don’t like is these don’t have the color name printed on the crayons. Crayola, honestly, would this have been that difficult to add? I prep color by number pictures for a special needs person, and it takes some time to figure out exactly which crayon colors are which so I can lay them out in order. I realize this is a nitpick first world problem, but there you go. Otherwise these twistable crayons are nice.

really good if your needing to use color on a super thin piece of people so it doesn't bleed through. just don't go buy them before work than leave them in your car in Florida in the sun. mine stared to melt oops. haha
