It's compact so it's great for travel but it's an open box with no lid so you have to buy a separate case if you want to carry it along. Also, the colors aren't as pigmented and there's not color names on the barrel. However, because it's not as pigmented, the color doesn't transfer easily on clothes.

Crayola is the best!
We love anything Crayola in our household. We prefer these when we do not want to sharpen the regular Crayola crayons. You just have to twist them up and not worry about the tip being dull. Love that the colors in these are just like the regular box of crayons. My only critique would be to have the color names placed on the twistable somewhere because otherwise you do not know which one is which. Some colors look too close to one another.
