Crayola 30ct Twistables Colored Pencils, Cute School Supplies for Kids, Art Classroom Essentials, Drawing and Coloring Gift, Ages 3+

I recently got into coloring as a way to relax and help manage anxiety, so I purchased the 30-pack of Crayola Twistables Colored Pencils. Overall, they have some great features, but they also have a few drawbacks that are worth mentioning. Pros: 🖍The colors are beautiful and can be applied lightly or heavily depending on how much pressure you use, making them great for shading and blending. 🖍No sharpening is required, which means less mess and makes them much easier to take on the go since you don't have to carry a sharpener. 🖍The 30-pack offers a nice variety of colors for most coloring projects. 🖍The pencils have a softer, almost crayon-like feel, which some people may prefer. Cons: 🖍There are no refill options. Once you use up a color, you have to replace the entire set just to get that one pencil again, which creates unnecessary plastic waste. 🖍Because the cores are softer, you have to be careful not to twist them out too far or they can break easily. 🖍The pencils don't have color names printed on them. Some shades look very similar until you test them, so I often need a scrap piece of paper to figure out which color I'm using. The end caps also don't accurately match the actual pencil color, which could make these especially difficult for someone who is color blind. 🖍A couple of my pencils have a manufacturing defect where the core won't stay extended. Instead, it slides back into the barrel while I'm trying to color, making those colors frustrating to use. 🖍I also wouldn't recommend these for children under 10 years old. The softer cores and twist mechanism require a bit more care than younger kids may be able to manage. 🖍🖍🖍 Overall, I enjoy using these pencils for adult coloring and relaxation because the colors are vibrant and convenient, but I do wish Crayola would improve the durability, add color names, and offer refill options. With those changes, these would be an easy five-star product.

This is the best of two world, colored pencils and crayons. I love the colors and the fact I do not have to sharpen them.

I purchase these colored pencils for my little cousins and they are in love with them. Colors are bright, easy to use, apply well on their craft paper.

Great product got them for my grand kids. Son daughter in law and grandma and grandpa love them. Only wish there was refills for them. As for plastic waste others complained about. Maybe they should recycle

My children really like these and their school requests them as supplies.

i love these twistable colored pencils-great for kids who use too much pressure when coloring-the lead will break therefore letting them know that they are applying too much pressure when coloring.

Not needing a pencil sharpener

These Twistable Colored Pencils are great for kids and adults, especially for older arthritis sufferers who like to draw and color! The colors of these pencils are so vibrant and they are so smooth to draw or color with! I highly recommend you try these pencils, they are worth every penny!

My granddaughters loved coloring with these twistable crayons, they are definitely a hit with a 5 and 7 yr old

I bought these twistable colored pencils for the convince of not having to sharpen them. However, they are coated in a weird waxy layer that makes it difficult to get saturation. They also break fairly easily, more than regular colored pencils. Next time, I will buy regular colored pencils and a $3 sharpener, because it is not worth it. They are not even labeled with the color name like most crayola products have.

Great concept but lacking a few things, specifically there are no color names on the barrel. The colors are also not as pigmented but it also means that it doesn't transfer easily on clothes.

I do a lot of detailed coloring and thought these would be great. However, you cannot sharpen the tips to color tiny spaces. Also the color name is not on each pencil. I would not recommend these at all.

The way the tips breaks on these, they shouldn't be marketed to 3+. My newly 4 year old needs surgery to remove the tip of this twistable pencil that broke off and now is stuck in his ear close to his ear drum. Dangerous product.
