Q: Is the width of the 7ft tree truely 44 inches wide? It doesn't look like it would be that big. I want a 7ft tree but need no bigger than 33 inches.

A: The 7' tree measures 44" wide from end of tip to end of tip. If shaped with branches in a slightly downward direction, the diameter would be less than 44".
