My cats favorite water fountain- I recently purchased a 2nd pagado fountain after trying a couple other aluminum style ones -

I've been using these fpr years! They wear well. They clean up well. Only have to buy a new one when I accidentally break the ceramic.

Beautiful, quiet, very large, very heavy.

I have had a couple different fountains. This one is the best by far.

I love this fountain and both my cats and puppy love it! It’s super easy to clean and wash/rinse out and easy for my pets to use. I’m very happy with this purchase.

I wish that I had waited to order until after the review on October 8! The noice from the water is horrible! I live in a studio, i cannot sleep with the fountain plugged in because it is so loud from across the house! It seems to e great quality, i’ve had this brand in the past and they have not been this loud, but man…the design of this one is horrible!! Be ready to have it in another room with the door closed!

This was an upgrade to an older Drinkwell fountain, and both cats took to it right away. Only flaws are you can't control the flow, therefore you can't control the noise, which is quite a bit more than the previous fountain. But, bottom line, the cats are drinking and this one is super-easy to clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the fountain, I was impressed with the quality. The fountain was easy to put together and easy to operate. My boxer 100 lbs, did nor like the fountain at all. It was just not big enough for her. She refused to us it. My little dog 20 lbs. did like the fountain. I think it is an overall great product. It works great, keeps the water fresh, and is very attractive. It just is not made for a bigger dog. I certainly would buy it. Hopefully, there is a bigger fountain for bigger dogs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fountain looks great, it’s well built (though a few too many pieces to assemble compared to some other fountains on the market). Everything is great until you turn it on. The water noise is really evident and since in our case the fountain is in the breakfast nook, we turned it off and replaced it with our old fountain within a day. It sounded like a leaky toilet. I would only recommend this fountain if is located in a room that people don’t live in or the noise is going to drive you crazy. It’s not even the soothing “water feature” sound. It literally sounds like an open faucet. For how kind of design, more care should have been taken designing the spout to create laminar flow resulting In quieter operation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was packaged well, and the reason I wanted ceramic is because I believe I can get the calcium deposits off the smooth edges. I love the filter that goes around the pump itself so that the filter doesn’t clog with slim/fuz/hair (unlike other fountains that don’t have the filter). Easy to fill with water. I like the fact that IF the electricity goes out that our dogs can still drink water from the reservoir (unlike other fountains). It’s a new toy to my dogs, so I’m sure it won’t take long and my dogs will stop playing in the reservoir. Cleaning – a MUST is completely opening up the pump itself and clean it (with a q-tip) is very important. I think the only bad part about this fountain is that it is heavy and after adding water, it’s even heavier when you go to lift it to take it to the sink to wash it. I haven't had it long but think i'll continue to enjoy it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a gorgeous fountain that fits nicely into our home. Upon setting it up, our cats were instantly attracted to the sound of running water. Speaking of setup, this fountain is probably the easiest one that I've ever had to use, clean and sanitize. Everything fits together perfectly and I feel that I can get everything cleaned properly for my cats. I would recommend putting a mat down beneath the fountain to protect your floors, just from any accidental overflow.

I added the Pagoda fountain in taupe to the collection about a week ago and it's great! I have three cats, from 4yrs to 17yrs. The oldest likes to drink from the upper tier which is easiest for her. The youngest will NOT drink water from a bowl, it has to be running water, and he loves drinking from the side streams. The scaredy cat "middle child" has never used the other fountains, but even she is warming up to this one. I've actually seen her drink from it once, which if you knew her you'd realize that's pretty amazing. I couldn't begin to tell you why, other than maybe the others just aren't pretty enough. :) This fountain is very pretty in it's simplicity, elegant lines, and neutral color. The ceramic gives it a nice sculptural and upscale look. Very easy to clean - no hard to get to nooks, which is a big improvement over the others I have. I'm very happy with this fountain, and now I'm thinking of replacing the biggest of my other two with another Pagoda. We all love it!! Thank you for anther great product, PetSafe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received my Drinkwell pagoda fountain. ATLAST, a fountain that actually filters the water. I own and operate a feline sanctuary and I have at least 5 fountains running for the last ten years. I have purchased every brand I could find and though they all come with filters the water merely goes around or over the filters. The Drinkwell pagoda is designed to actually force the water through the filter. There is no chance that any water bypasses the filter and it has a mesh type pre -filter that catches the cat hair that usually gets stuck in the pump. Kudos to Drinkwell for doing it right ! The only thing I don't like is the sound of splashing water. It doesn't splash out of the ceramic basin but it doesn't have a splash ramp like other fountains. Since I put the fountain in "the cat house" it is not an issue where I can hear it.

It was somewhat difficult to set up and the power cord was a little short for where I needed to put it, but my dog really enjoys the fresh moving water and I get to enjoy a dog watering bowl that isn't just a heap of plastic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have four cats who have previously used two Drinkwell fountains that are plastic and had a reservoir in the back. This one is ceramic and is easier to keep clean and fill regularly. Their previous fountains were very quiet as the water stream fell onto another plastic piece. This one is much louder and both streams fall directly into the water in the bowl. At first three of my cats seemed scared of this, but now all are using it happily. I like the access from all four sides and from the top (two of mine drink only from the top). The surface space is a bit limited for my larger cat to get to, but he is drinking mostly from the stream now. I feel like this fountain is staying cleaner for a longer period then our previous fountains. Overall, this one is a win.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Drinkwell Pagoda fountain is great. It's sturdy and quite heavy for being so small. It circulates the water and entices my cats and dogs to drink. I had a plastic drinkwell before and it got slimy very quickly. This little fountain is staying cleaner longer which is a plus for me. I also like that it is easy to take apart for cleaning and there is only one filter to maintain. Highly recommend especially for cat owners since they like to drink flowing water.

I like that the water is constantly moving, encouraging the animals to drink! It does have a little bit of a smaller capacity so depending on animal size you may be filling it up more to keep the water recirculating. The one thing I did have to get used to is walking into the room where it was and hearing water running thinking a faucet was left on! But overall I do like the design and concept of this fountain.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the box arrived I was totally impressed with the packaging and how easy it was to put the pagoda fountain together. It was immediately evident that this was a very well though out and well,made item. Given it’s made out of stoneware it will clean up easily and will not get mucky like the metal bowls. It truly is lovely and functional. Only down side it it a little noisy, but we ave it in a smaller room where out elderly cat like to hang out. Initially she found the noise distracting, but she’s also slightly neurotic. I do believe my dog would have no problem nor a younger cat who can deal more easily with changes to their environment. Other than that it really is nice!
