Taupe blades are quite a bit different than stock pictures show. We plan on keeping the fan but probably would not purchase this color again.

My current one is about 17 years old, and fully functioning, but all white and I intend to replace with this one as I'm redecorating. And sell my old one. On thing I particularly love is how quiet it is when the fan is running, so never disturbs my sleep.

These are the opposite of the fussy, ugly celling fans with tulip lights hanging off of them - simple, clean, modern and unobtrusive AND summers are just so much more pleasant with these very quiet celling fans in the bedrooms! Win, win!

I look at this unit for a few weeks before I purchased. I was concerned about installation. We had no problem with the install. The directions are clear and concise. The room we installed it in is much more comfortable. We only use the first two settings. We were luck that the blades were already balanced when we first turned the unit on. The unit is very attractive
