Curry powder? I don’t think so. It’s more like ground cumin with delusions of grandeur. It doesn’t smell like curry powder, it doesn’t taste like curry powder, it tastes like cumin with the barest hint of the other seasonings.

Unfortunately it does not taste like Curry. It kind of hurts my feelings because I bought two bottles and it does not taste like curry powder. A real curry powder has a very pungent and strong flavor and smell this one however does not.

Different Mix?
Bought these curry powder multiple times to make japanese curry as well as a curry lentil stew. This latest bottle doesn't taste like curry at all. I thought I somehow forgot to cook my favorite dishes. This no longer tastes and smells like curry. It is overly spiced with clove. I uses the entire bottle and not once did I or anyone who tried it think it was curry.

Excellent: They Hit the Target
I am from Jamaica where we're serious about our curry and can be considered curry snobs. I was very hesitant to get this because I have always been disappointed with curries outside of Jamaica. But I figured I'd get it because I was out of curry and Target is very close to my house. Boy, was I pleasantly shocked. It is as good as any of the top curries I grew up with in Jamaica. VERY flavorful and authentic. It will now be my go-to.

Do you like cinnamon? If not, this is not the curry for you. Easily the worst curry blend I’ve ever used. You get what you pay for. This went directly in the trash after the first use because of how unbalanced it was.

Lack of flavor
I do not understand how this has high star reviews…absolutely 0 flavor whatsoever. Cooked a coconut curry chicken soup, recipe called for 1 tbsp of this curry powder and I swear this was the most bland soup I’ve ever tasted. Had to use triple the curry and add other spices to even get a curry taste at all.
