Best for your family's health
The BEST oats to feed your family. Did you know the common farming practice now is to spray all the ripe grains (oats, wheat, etc) with round-up herbicide to kill the plant and dry it down for easy harvest? Yeah, nice meal of extra poison on your food. Maybe you don't care--but we sure do. I think our kids get enough exposure to chemicals in this world, so organic is the way to go for us. PLUS--it just tastes better--hearty smooth flavorful oats. Best way to make is to soak overnight, cooks up hot in a couple minutes. Add a dash of cinnamon and a few fresh berries or even better, add a cut-up apple with dash of cinnamon to the pot while you cook it--so good! Do your kids a favor and hold off adding sugar to everything or giving them that overprocessed puffed cereal for breakfast. Real food is so much better.

Great product!
I love these oats! They last forever and are tasty. The resealable bag also works well. I would buy them again!

Eh
I’ve been purchasing these oats for almost two years now and the quality has gone down. A couple of months back I started noticing an increased amount of husks in the bags that I was purchasing. They’re edible but not pleasant to chew. They’re fine cooked but I used to love making overnight oats with them but now they have a weird grass-like smell when I do.

Fav oats
I love Bobs. These oats are my new favorite! They stay fresh in the packaging, perfect for overnight oats and my other recipes. Target usually has the best price!

Quality control going down
I've been purchasing this brand and these oats for years, this past year I've noticed a big change in the amount of shells that make it through. It's off putting, but we still buy because the oats taste great.

Toddlers approved
I have tried different brands of oatmeal. This is the only one that I trust with my toddlers. They love oatmeal and we eat this everyday so yes! We are definitely buying these!!

Only brand I buy
I always keep a backup bag on hand. Lately I use them in no bake cookies and the chewy consistency is so addictive.

The way oats were meant to be!
I've used several of Bob's Red Mill products and they are all 100% great! These old fashioned oats are by far the very best tasting oats I have ever had in my entire 66 years of existence! This is the way oats were meant to be, pure, simple and tasty!!

Is there Corn?
We buy this all the time, but sometimes it smells and tastes like Corn. I've written to them and they admit the factory does process corn on the same machines. Obviously the Quality Control isn't the best; the machines are Not being properly cleaned. I cannot eat any grains so because of this issue with Bob's Red Mill, I will need to find another brand. Beware!!

Did not like the texture
I have been eating the steel cut oats. But thought I would try the rolled. I did not like the consistency or texture at all. Gone back to the steel cut!

Straw like pieces
I’ve bought this many times in the past. But, why do I feel like I’m chewing twigs every other spoonful? It’s ridiculous! It’s been taking me an hour to eat this because I have to get up and spit twigs, bamboo or whatever it is in the toilet.
