I have bought several pairs of the swim shorts 5" (black, navy, light blue, Kelly green, yellow, and red). True to size, full coverage while swimming laps, taking water classes and walking. My only complaint, some short colors fade (especially the waist band) and no longer match the same color of tankini which is why I'm giving a 4 star rather than a 5 star. Reccomend staying away from the same color of tank and purchase a pattern or a complimentary solid color to match.

These were perfect! The colors are beautiful, it's quick drying, comfortable and ideal for a larger, older woman trying to hide a multitude of flaws. They're not too long, not too short, perfect fit around the waste, easy to get on and off, even when wet. I bought these to go with the top shown and while the top was tight, I loved the bottoms.

I am happy with Lands' End selection of swim shorts and now own 4 pairs. For me they are a happy solution to keeping the tops of my legs covered without needing to wear a swim skirt. They feel very liberating compared to a swim skirt and dry much more quickly.

I just wore these shorts on a Caribbean vacation and they worked spectacularly! I could straight from snorkeling to lunch. The curvy fit worked prefect for me. I really couldn’t be happier and hope that Lands End will offer this size in fun colors like the straight fit swim shorts.

At 70 my glutes are not like athletic ones they used to be. For this reason, these swim shorts have been a great replacement for all my high waisted swim bottoms. They are more sporty than the swim skirts and I can mix and match with my tankini tops. My weight is 131 pounds and the size 8 fits comfortably. They fit perfectly and have been a great addition to my swim wear.
