My kids love monster trucks and remote control cars. This one was, however, a huge disappointment. We love the brand and the commitment to nontoxic materials but the truck does not turn, at all, when going forward. It is not fast. It has the potential to be a really awesome choice but unfortunately really disappointed us.

Piece of junk
We bought one for each of our boys (2yrs & 5yrs). These cars broke within an hour of use. They weren’t reckless with them but the suspension snapped. I was so surprised. I wish Target would stop selling these cars that are a waist of money & just junk. I threw them both out. I should have returned them but the packaging was ripped.

We bought this a month ago for our daughter's birthday. Initially, we were happy with it; it did what it was supposed to, made our daughter happy, and didn't break the budget. However, it has fallen apart in several ways and no longer works correctly. The suspension has broken, one spring is missing, and broken bits of plastic make it so even if I *can* reattach pieces, they never stay. Now, only one front tire is attached because yet another piece broke and it will only turn left. No right, forward, or backward. Our daughter is upset I can't fix it, and I'm upset we spent money on such an atrocious RC car.

Worked poorly out of the box then stopped completely!!
Straight out of the box, it had a hard time turning and wasn't very fast at all. We used it for about 15 minutes. After that, it stopped responding to the controller. If you spin the wheels then press the forward or backwards joystick, it will go for a short amount of time but you cannot turn it. I highly recommend NOT getting this.

Cheap and broken
It’s trash. Avoid it. Out of the box with fresh batteries it had a tough time turning while going straight, making it difficult to maneuver, especially for a kid. After about a month of play it is now completely broken. The back struts snapped off and the thing is a paperweight. It’s a very cheap toy. Bought a remote control cat toy for the same price and my son has way more fun with it - Turbo Tail 2.0. A true remote monster truck that’s not cheap looks like it will cost us a lot more money…

Broken
Monster truck didn’t work once out of the box. We replaced batteries and it would make noise but wouldn’t move forwards or backwards. It’s unusable.

Stopped working after a few days
The monster truck worked great at first then after a few days it started getting stuck. It would make noise, but wouldn’t move forward or backwards when pushing the joysticks. Very finicky. I wouldn’t buy this again

Great toy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really fun R/C car! My 5 year old loves it since he is a big monster truck fan. The bright colors are a lot of fun too. It also makes sounds and the lights go on. It’s very easy to control, my son has no problem maneuvering it. You can control it up to 60 feet away. It gets around pretty well on most terrains.

Nostalgia
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Growing up, my dad will bring me a monster truck every time he went somewhere for a work trip. So this definitely brought back some nostalgia. My daughter is obsessed with this and chases it around the house or asks me to race with her. The truck is pretty solid and well made. The controller could be a bit more ergonomic and not as boxy though.
