bad ingredients
This shampoo contains benzyl salicylate, which is associated with frontal fibrosing alopecia. Why would anyone put this in a shampoo? Totally unnecessary. Also, all these Suave shampoos have been reformulated since the brand was sold. If you compare the labels and look at ingredients on the older bottles, the older bottles contained much more of the "active" ingredients. On all of the newer ones, the good ingredients they advertise (sea algae extract, etc) appear near the very bottom of the list, like they exist just as an afterthought.

Good for Clarifying Low Porosity
I switched my clarifying shampoo to this one to save some money. I compared it with the Suave Clarifying Shampoo, and decided to go with this one since it has all of the ingredients of the other one, just some moisturizers added in, which is great for my thick, low porosity, 2A/2B hair. I have used this with the Pantene Ultra Restorative shampoo and the Miracle balm conditioner; fantastic results. I have also used it with only the Dove Bond Repair serum mask and it gave me the best blowout! Very light hydration, no stripping like the Pantene Volume shampoo. And the scent is amazing! I’m considering getting the conditioner as well.

Suave shampoo does leave a really good clean for the price. It definitely suds up and Suave scents always smell so good. The only thing is it's kind of hard on the hair. But for the price well worth it!

Don’t use if you have thick curly hair

why did you have to change the recipe...
This was straight fire my homies, they changed something though. Seems to still clean my hair decent but the amazing ocean breeze smell is gone and has become an ocean turtle fart.

this shampoo is good value for the money, being it’s a cheap shampoo. the packaging is simple but majority of the time the lid breaks on these. it has the same effectiveness of any other cheap shampoo and leaves my hair not as moisturized but the scent does smell good!
