OXO 10 Steel Open Frypan with Silicone Sleeve Black

Perfect alternative to non-stick pans that break / scratch every couple of months. They are very good quality, look great in the kitchen, easy to cook, seamless non-stick transition experience, and most importantly - it's much healthier.

used it few times, washed & dried. started seeing rust marks. disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pan is a great size for everyday cooking. The handle is secure with rubber so it doesn’t get hot. It kind of crackles and pops when cooking, that’s the only thing to be wary of. The color and material are great!

The OXO pan comes pre-seasoned but I applied another seasoning coat before I used it ('cause that's just how I roll). I've only used it once and I am very satisfied. I fried eggs that slid easily out of the pan and cleanup was a cinch. It's much lighter than a previous carbon steel pan I owned and certainly much lighter than a typical cast iron pan. The silicon handles are a welcome feature too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a great pan! I didn’t have anything like this in my pan collection. As soon as I opened it I knew I needed to cook some steaks with it. Absolutely no sticking, seared up BEAUTIFULLY, and was extremely easy to clean which I was concerned about. The handle is comfy and cushiony which is nice when you’re cooking something you need good control of to be flipping around. I’m excited to use it again! This would specifically be great for a thicker cut of meat since it heats up so evenly for a good, crisp sear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice and sturdy non stick pan. I enjoy cooking meat with this pan especially when I’m sautéing. The only thing I’ve noticed is you have to pay attention to water being left in the pot. I left some in the pot overnight and it started to turn a rusty color. It reminds me of a cast iron skillet in a way, just not as heavy. I’m highly pleased with this pan and will use until I can’t use it anymore!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is your typical run-of-the-mill non-stick pan. I don't feel like there was anything special about it and it cooks just fine. I like the color of the pan but I honestly don't get the preseason carbon steel gimmick. As a chef for 15 years, I feel like this cooked just like any other pan I've used. But we live in the future and my question is instead of making new gimmicks to sell pans, why can't we make non-stick pans that you can wash in the dishwasher? That is my only gripe about this pan. I appreciate being gifted it to review but we need non-stick pans that you can beat up and throw in the dishwasher. I hate having to baby these non-stick pans because within a few years they've lost all their non-stick properties and are potentially leaching cancer causing ingredients into your food. The food doesn't stick in this pan but as soon as I mess up the non-stick coating, I'm sure food will stick to this just like any other pan.

It pre seasoned so it only gets better as you use it. It’s so easy to clean and has versatility since it can be used both in the stove and in the oven as well as having a silicone sleeve for the handle for easy safe handling. It heats up evenly and cooks really well plus it’s so easy to clean.

It's easy to use once u figure out how to take care of it since it requires a wash before use and specific way to clean and dry it after use but otherwise it's a breeze to cook with and had my food tasting delicious with no issues of any food sticking to the pan!

The pan is ready to use and works very well. It's lightweight and heats up quickly on an induction range. The silicone sleeve is nice, but feels like it might start to slip off too easily after prolonged use. Cooking and flipping eggs is very easy, and nothing sticks on the first use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I swear this is the pan of my dreams 😍 I used it to make a blistered tomato and zucchini sauce. Nothing stuck to the pan at all!!! The rubber handle makes it easy to move burners. It stores nicely with all my other pans as well since it isn’t too bulky. I have tried many pans before that claim to do the same as this one and simply don’t. Oxo has outdone themselves. 10000/10!!!
