i am on a mission to get rid of my non stick pans. i have stainless steel but it just doesn't cut it when it comes to frying an egg or pan searing stuff. After a lot of research, I decided to try this more affordable option before investing in the expensive brands. i tried the smallest size to test. So far so good. Its a little intimidating to use because directions for use is sort of vague. i looked online for guidance and even called the manufacturer and was told I only have to wash the pan and use. There's nothing toxic that needs scrubbing. I scrubbed anyway because there was dark oil residue on the pan which disappeared after several uses and wash. Aside from having to season it after each use it's not that hard to upkeep. It's a bit heavier than non stick but I'm glad that I made the switch. i can be hard on it without worrying about coating scraping off like nonstick. The handle can get hot after prolonged cooking but it's not too bad. you can get a cover for it if it heats up. The picture shows the pan after over 10 uses. i would recommend it!
