Cracked in two places after first use
Bought in store and I'm lucky Target has a generous return policy, because this cracked x2 after the first use. I did a low and slow steaming of some chicken for 45 minutes over a gas stove. The next day, I emptied the water and washed it out - it had still not cracked at this point. When I got it off the drying rack the following day, it had two cracks - one long one by the handle and a smaller one on the opposite side. This pot is rather thin walled, and it seems like the heat and cooling process caused it to warp enough that it just snapped. Absolutely wild, I've never had a product break like this. I thought buying name brand + spending $76 after tax was a safe bet. I was wrong.

I love this set. I use it every day! The bottom 3 qt pot in it's own is a nice size and also has measurements marked on the inside. It's the steamer that I love, though. It makes it so easy to use by fitting perfectly on top of the other pot, and easy to clean by being flat. I've used those separate steamer baskets that fold up and those are a pain to clean and they break. This makes you look forward to cooking.

Rust spot
I bought this item with great enthusiasm and used it a few times. Some reviews complain about water stains. These can be removed easily with vinegar. But the bottom stains -- not too sure. Most serious -- today I noticed a small rust stain in the bottom pan which had a vinegar water mix in it. This isn unacceptable. Not sure I can return, since I have opened and used already. But Cuisinart should refund my money. I am disappointed becasue I researched this item carefully before purchasing!

The brand but with a couple of uses stains happened. Saw the reviews and I thought it was me but I guess not. We paid a pretty penny for this to be disappointed for the quality of the brand. I wouldn't return but the price is too much not to return.

Be patient and read instructions
I have a lot of patience and read instructions unlike other reviewers who buy a pan and review it every based on cooking methods used with non-stick pans. Cooking oils will be your go to and you must be patient. The health benefits of cooking with stainless steel far out weigh a little discoloration. I’ll never use a toxic pan again.

Baby led weaning gem!
Love this stainless steel pot. It’s been an excellent help in my baby led weaning journey. I started using it when baby was first starting to eat at 6 months and it does a great job steams anything fast. I use it for vegetables and fruits and fish!
