A: Thank you for your inquiry. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. • Bon-Ami®, Cameo®, Bar Keepers Friend® or Never Dull® are all excellent cleaning agents. Add water to a small amount of any of these cleaners and stir the contents until it becomes paste-like. • Apply the paste to the affected areas and let it sit for 30 minutes to an hour. • After time has elapsed, scrub the paste and rinse the solution off. You should notice an improvement after cleaning. You may need to apply the paste a few times or as needed.

A: Hi, it is stainless steel. The base has three layers. one layer of aluminum sandwiched in between 2 layers of stainless steel. There is no exposed aluminum.

Target you have nothing to do with this. Love shopping there Cuisinart basically youre pan sucks washing them pans an drying them all you see is water spots and when cooking on low heat food get stuck period wont be buying this bran no more 😑

Received it today and after washing it, used it to make 'masala' tea. And the stains are not removable. Already soaked the stains and tried after an hour but no change. Same stains, not removed.

Not good
I have never used stainless steel. In a pitch I went to target and wanted to try them as it's better for your health than non stick. I used this little pot one time followed heating directions and hand washed and dried immediately and it's already stained and little black dots forming. I have a receipt but since it's open I'm sure target will not take it back and it was a waste of money. I bought another one too and have yet to use and worried about quality.

Nice Quality
It is a solid pot that seems durable so far. I do not find stainless steel cookware to be nonstick even though some people say it is. The diameter is small, and I have a coil electric stove, so I do not really like using it as much as some other pans. However, I do not think it would be an issue with a glass stovetop. I like how it has the measurements listed. My family likes how the handle did not get hot even though it looked like it would. Please still use caution as this may not always be the case depending on how high the heat is and what is being cooked.

Uneven Heating
Unfortunately, Cuisinart esCuisinart doesn't provide a full description, or I totally miss it i.e. only the bottom is 3-ply. That causes the sides to become extremely hot, finally burning the food in contact. Other people have had the same problem. I would say this is a poor quality item

Hard Pass
I received this item on January 28 at 3 PM. I decided to boil yellow potatoes I put in 2 cups of water a little bit of salt a little bit of pepper. I did not let the water evaporate and guess what the pan still burnt. It has burnt marks on it . I'm so disappointed so I will only use this pot to boil an egg or possibly some Ramen but I guess I won't use black pepper anymore.

I only had this pot for maybe 2 weeks before it started to develop these black spots inside that won’t come off. Besides simply boiling water, I have only cooked a handful of things in it and more and more spots show up.

Keep looking for another pot unless you're only planning to boil water.
I purchased this pot because it was the perfect size for cooking rice for one person. However, it heats up very quickly and unevenly, which has led to my rice burning every single time!! even with the fire on the lowest setting. This pot may work well for boiling water or preparing instant soups but thats about it.

Worthless--Pitted after two uses
I use a small saucepan for so many things. So, when I found this Cuisinart on sale, I immediately ordered it. I have used Cuisinart sauce pans through the years and they had held up well for the price. Not this time. Not only did this little stinker pit within two uses but I am also seeing the appearance of rust. $17.+ and a trip to the trash after two uses turned out not to be good deal.
