There's nothing more important to us than our users safety and satisfaction, so we're truly sorry to hear about the experience that you've had. This isn't what we expect with our quality and safety checks. While scent preferences will vary from person to person, the scent should never be too strong and minty that it results in a migraine when used as directed. Because you had this experience, we ask that you discontinue using it. There are two possible reasons for strong/lingering scent. One of which is a lot of product was applied and it wasn't completely wiped up. The second being that the product was wiped up and it left an oily residue. We realize that you found it difficult to wipe up, even though you used Dawn. We're unsure how you used Dawn exactly, but we recommend about a dime size of Dawn to one cup water. After cleaning the area with the Dawn solution, dry the area so it is no longer wet. We'd like to connect, make a report to our Safety Team and help. Please call us at (800) 374-9429.

Hi there, Shaunte. Thank you so much for your review, and for using Zevo. We're sorry your product wasn't as full as you were expecting. It is normal for the container to appear 60% full. This is because the other 40% is propellent which is needed to dispense the spray. If it isn't there, it wouldn't dispense. However, we understand that scent can be something that is liked by some and not others, similar to taste. We worked with consumers to design the scent of the new formulas to signal both efficacy and safety. Please know that comments like yours are how we determine the decisions we make about future products and changes, so you can be assured that we will be sharing your comments with the rest of our team! To help with the scent, we recommend you use a rag or paper towel to wipe up excess product. That will help weaken the scent. The spray product directions call for wiping the sprayed area after the bug(s) are dead. Many times, just wiping up any excess product will help the scent go away faster. If there is an oily residue left behind, create a solution of Dawn and water to clean the area. We recommend about a dime size of Dawn to one cup water. After cleaning the area with the Dawn solution, then dry the area so it is no longer wet. In the future, we hope you'll try our Ant, Roach, and Fly trigger spray so you can keep both crawling and flying insects from making your home into their home. It comes in a clear bottle with a trigger sprayer so you can modify the spray to either a mist or a stream, depending on your preference, as you take action at the first sign of bug problems. Izzy, thank you so much for your review. We're very sorry that you're not a fan of this new formula. We reformulated it to add a new active ingredient (geraniol) and decreased the amount of cornmint and rosemary oils. This should result in improved efficacy and a less mint, more herbal scent experience. We're sorry that you're not a fan.
