    Same Formula? Definitely Not the Same Yogurt

    I’ve been buying Oikos Pro for a long time, and something has definitely changed. I understand Oikos says there has been no formula change, but the product I’m buying now is noticeably different. The Strawberry used to have the same thick, creamy consistency as the Mixed Berry. The newer Strawberry cups with the plastic-style lid are much thinner and more watery, while the Mixed Berry cups I’ve had with the foil lids still have the thick consistency I expect from Oikos Pro. Whatever changed — formula, ingredient proportions, production process, or something else — the end product is not the same. I specifically bought Oikos Pro because of the thick texture and high protein, and the new Strawberry texture is a significant downgrade. If the formula truly hasn’t changed, I’d like Oikos to explain why the consistency changed so noticeably at the same time the packaging changed. Please bring back the thicker, creamier texture.

    Oikos Pro 20 changed formula

    Horrible, they changed the formula. All Recent batches are thinner, have a weird texture and almost an after taste. If you liked the thick rich vanilla then you’ll need to look elsewhere!

    Chalky, gritty texture after recipe change

    As other reviews mention, there is a noticeable difference in consistency in the Oikos Pro in the last two months (August/September 2026). It is thinner with a chalky/gritty texture, probably from the protein powder not getting fully emulsified. It is clear that the recipe has changed even though they are denying it in their response to reviews. Will not be buying again until they go back to the old recipe.

    Not good anymore

    I have been eating Oikos Pro Strawberry yogurt for a VERY long time and loved the creamy texture and fruity taste. But I just tried eating one that had new packaging and design on it and it is so awful I couldn't even finish it. First, it is very runny, not creamy like it was before. But more than that, it tastes truly awful. It's doesn't taste like strawberry at all, has a very sour chemical-like taste, and left a chalky aftertaste in my mouth. I even double-checked the date because it tasted like it might have gone bad. I bought a 4-pack and the rest will go straight into the trash. I am really saddened that there has obviously been a change to the recipe and I'll need to find a new favorite brand.
