Oikos Pro Greek Yogurt

This makes me sick for some reason (no it’s not expired). Both times I ate it I felt very loopy, nauseous and irritable right after. Triple zero doesn’t make me feel this way. Not sure what ingredient is causing it. Also just a weird texture.

I bought this for the nutritional value, but expected it to taste protein-y. it actually just tastes like good Greek yogurt. I recommend!

It is a thick and creamy yogurt that you can be diverse with. I had mine with cinnamon bread, and it added that healthy flavor of fruit that I didn’t have on hand. Wonderful value! This is a low fat low-calorie product that tastes like an indulgent. It’s so creamy that if you turn the spoon upside down after you’ve grabbed a scoop, it doesn’t fall off. They use 2% ultra filtered milk for the yogurt culture, so you can feel satisfied without worry. In addition. OIKOS contains nine essential amino acids, vitamin D, calcium and it’s gluten-free. I loved that “20g” is right there on the front, no guessing games. The shadowed strawberry? Also fresh and inviting. The yogurt itself? This does come a cost of and weirdly smooth but slightly chalky texture that wasn't my favorite. Strawberry is never my first choice in yogurt flavors, but this was nicely subdued, although a bit more tang would have been nice. Overall 4*/5 because the nutrition is excellent, but the flavor and texture were just ok.

This was the first time I had strawberry. It is so smooth and creamy. The strawberry was medium in flavor, not subtle but not overpowering either. I like these prepackaged portions. I know that 20g of protein will keep be feeling full until lunch, and only 8g of carbs makes it a guilt-free treat in the morning! Even better, there are 0g of added sugar, so I don’t have to worry about a sugar crash later in the day. I tried it mixed in a smoothie as well, which made my smoothie creamy and rich and added a major protein boost. So good!
