[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If used lightly it can be really helpful at get rid of that fizz on top of your head. Also helps with hair flying out of your braids/plaits. Can also use it on your braids/plaits if you slept on them and they need a tidy. But be careful as using too much can mark you feel greasy and will be a hassle to wash out.

I have a love hate relationship with this product. I HATE that it has artificial fragrance aka chemicals in it. I would rather it be scented naturally with essential oils or even unscented. I will not buy it again because of this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually really loved this product, I didn’t think I was going to , but it’s made slicking back my hair so much easier and my slick backs actually hold which is a miracle with all of my baby hairs , it gives a really nice glossy shine so doesn’t look to waxy and the texture is really easy to work with , super easy to wash out the hair aswell which is a big thing for me as I protect my hair , the packaging is easy to use but be careful with the metal edge because I just slice my finger , doesn’t have a bad smell and really easy to use and works so well !

Here’s a breakdown of my experience: Packaging The packaging feels cheap and clunky. It looks like a giant glue stick, and the twist-up mechanism is frustrating to use. After just a few uses, the product started to build up around the edges and made a mess every time I opened it. Definitely not travel-friendly or hygienic. Shine This wax stick claims to give a sleek, polished look, but all I got was a greasy, overly shiny finish that made my hair look dirty rather than styled. It doesn't dry down or settle just sits on top of the hair like an oily film. Texture Sticky and heavy. The texture is thick and waxy (as expected), but it doesn’t smooth into the hair well. It clumps, catches on strands, and leaves a tacky residue on your fingers. Even after washing my hands, I could still feel the stickiness. Hold Terrible hold. It doesn't last more than a couple of hours, especially in humidity. Flyaways came right back, and my style fell apart by midday. It’s not strong enough for slick styles, yet too heavy for lightweight shaping. Scent Overpowering and synthetic. The smell is strong and lingers for hours and not in a good way. It’s somewhere between industrial cleaner and artificial fruit, and it gave me a headache after a while. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this product. There are far better waxes and styling sticks on the market that don’t feel as greasy or smell as intense. The Bed Head Wax Stick was a letdown across the board.
