[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] *I received this product in exchange for my honest review I'm so impressed with this TRESemmé Styling Aid Fix Styling Stick. I've never used a product like this, so I was a bit hesitant. Would it make my hair look greasy? How much should I use for wispy fly aways? Does it wash out easily? Let's start with my first concern regarding a "greasy" look. No, it does not make your hair greasy when you use a small amount. To be fair, I overused the product the first time and definitely looked greasy (it was also challenging to get out of my hair with one shampoo). I then learned to apply in small strokes and used a little tooth brush to work the product into place. This left me with the sleekest, chic updo style I've ever had. Seriously. It also washed out like a dream. The old adage, "less is more" is apropos with this product. Start with a little and add more if needed. I LOVE how small it is because you can take it in your purse for quick touch ups. Don't be fooled by the size either...I've used it about 30 times and haven't made a dent in it. 10/10! The scent is tropical...possibly a Gardenia or Sambac Jasmine note? Really lovely and refreshing. Washing it out was no problem. If you're new to this type of product, this is a great way to get started. Love it!

The stick glides across hair effortlessly and as an added bonus, smells great! I would recommend using this before/on wash day though, as it can be difficult to get out without a shampoo.

I’ll say this probably will work for women with straight hair; however for thick curly hair like mine it did nothing to lay or style it. There was no point in removing the black lid because the product itself didn’t help. Didn’t last. Scent is ok. I like how small and easy to carry it is.

It seems to work great, and I absolutely love the scent. I don’t know if I have the right texture for it though. With wiry dry and wild curls I think I have to use so much of the product that it would be tedious to apply or highly visible and caked on. Not the products fault by any means, I just have horrible hair. But if I was doing an up style for a formal event, this would be perfect for taming baby hairs

I rub a little on my fingers and smooth a few hairs individually and then rub the whole stick all over. Works beautifully. When you open it there is a black plastic cap that covers the stick and I suppose you can throw it away but I keep it on so it doesn't dry out. I love this stuff.

I always have flyaways and stick-ups on the top of my hair. It works okay but leaves my hair looking and feeling greasy. I have tried it several times. I thought I was pushing down too hard. But it still leaves it that way. It holds for several hours, and then my hair starts sticking up again. I would rather have something that lasts longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it WORKS. i didn’t know what the stick would be made of, but i was willing to try. this was my first time using a wax styling stick and i was impressed. typically, i use gel or hairspray to hold hair in place (especially during workouts) and the crunch is sometimes gross. the tresemme styling stick held my hair in place through a heated pilates class and even when i took my hair tie out…it was still holding… with no crunch. this stick will last forever. i love it.
